We've now seen Woods miss some critical tackles. I'm not sure he is ready to replace Heath.

He looked good earlier this year ina small sample size but the more he plays the more you have to come to the conclusion that maybe he's not ready.

I can count on one hand the amount of *positive* contributions most of the posters in this thread have made in the past year, as far as analyzing, info, anything actually worthwhile to the board.

On the other hand, every thread where people are complaining, there they are. Maybe because they're incapable of providing anything productive?

The world may never know.

Who do you think you are Jesus of the forum? I highly doubt it. Never heard of you before this thread either bro...Lol!

Good. That means you've never engaged in a productive thread.

I handed out tampons earlier, you must have missed yours. Here you go, bud.

Luke Kuechly was pretty awesome right a way. Many others.

“Many others”

That comment right there shows you’re looking for the negative. No there are not “many” linebackers that walk in “pretty awesome” without a learning curve especially on a defense with the talent of ours.

I don’t know how good Keuchly was his first 7 games....I didn’t watch the 2012 panthers closely, much less he all 22.

I can say Keuchly wasn’t playing football for the first time in two years recovering from a major injury.

Anyone who thinks Smith was going to step in an all pro were kidding themselves. People need to temper their expectations and let him grow like we would any rookie player. I guarantee anyone who is writing him off already were angry we drafted him and just want to be right.

You are giving me a tampon? Lol way to engage and make insults. Real awesome forum stuff there bud.

Look, it is OK if you like Jaylon. I like him too. It is a great story but facts are stubborn things. Jaylon is not great right now. If you think otherwise you are just being a "player homer" and there isn't much more pathetic than that.

I'm indifferent towards Jaylon. What i am not, however, is a member who takes the forum to complain in almost every single thread.

You're the one that got butthurt by me saying it's always the same people complaining and never contributing anything of value. You grouped yourself in, not me bruh :)

If the stiletto fits, LOL

The Jaylon debate Is like the Democrats vs. Republicans. No common ground. If the FO had that pick again would they draft Jaylon?

I'm not trying to be picky here but here are 3 besides Keulchly recently that went to the pro-bowl in their first season. There was more I am sure.

Von Miller
Clay Matthews
CJ Mosley

Look it...I am willing to give Jaylon time but he has a LOOONG way to go. Sean Lee was way more impressive his rookie season.

I didn't get butt hurt at all. I just wanted to laugh at you for acting like you are the forum Jesus of posting, like you are the most knowledgeable person on what posts or posters are important on a forum of thousands. Very laughable and sad... haha

I do too.

He is a shell of himself. He is nowhere near 100% and he may never be.

No player has come back from that type of knee injury. The guy can’t lift his foot. It’s painful to watch. It really is.

Sean Spence had that injury in 2012 and returned. He was never considered an elite talent such as Smith but did return to play.
He was on a roster until Oct. 3rd of this year.... but yes, it is a shame... still hoping for a full recovery for Smith.

What about Von Miller?

Are you another "feel good" Jaylon is my hero so it is OK if he sucks guy?

Writing him off, yes I would agree that they were probably in that group. I am still high on Jaylon's upside, but he hasn't played well and that's fair evaluation. It's also fit to criticize the draft capital we gave up in the pick, but that's hindsight.

You're comparing a 2nd rounder to top 10 picks like Keuchly, and the #2 player taken in a draft in Von Miller?

The only one that's been semi close is Matthews, but he was still a 1st rounder, picked 26th.
