You're comparing a 2nd rounder to top 10 picks like Keuchly, and the #2 player taken in a draft in Von Miller?

The only one that's been semi close is Matthews, but he was still a 1st rounder, picked 26th.

OK so what you are saying is there is no one like Jaylon Smith who has ever done better than Jaylon Smith?... Awesome...you WIN...You are the forum Jesus. I forgot. LOLOL!!

Are you from earth? How in the blue hell could Dallas take him over Jalyon? Seriously dude..... Remove head from azz.

Again, another one who is saying, there has never been someone like Jaylon Smith, who has done better than Jaylon Smith. Good job. LOL.

He's a BUST so far at the 2nd round slot. B-U-S-T. Excuses are like you know what....get over it.

He asked you for examples and you use the #2 pick in the draft.

Brilliant.

he didn't specify what round you tool. He said name a player. I did. You lose...GAME-SET-MATCH. Sean Lee is an example of a 2nd round LB'er who was better his rookie season, he had a knee and that is only a player in our house. LOL Whatever, there is no arguing with blind "player" homers...Same type of people who championed people like Quincy Carter for years.

I have come the conclusion that those that hate on Jaylon do it because he is so obviously a fine young man that they know is so much a better person then they are themselves that they must hate him or commit suicide.
LOVE this, and all the replies it got!!!

Good stuff, DF LOL!!!!

To be fair, I think he assumed you'd have common sense and not try and compare a 2nd round pick to the #9 and #2 picks in their draft classes.

Good lord people. Just because some @Lb’s play great as rookies, doesn’t mean Jaylon is a bust yet. He isn’t even 100% healthy yet.

Everybody with a brain, knew that Jaylon was going to be a long term prospect. Long term as in, longer than 1.5 seasons.

Give the man some damn time. He is trending up for crying out loud.

Kuechly is a generational LB who didn't have his peroneal nerve stretched.

This reeks of "Moral" victory. Again, nice story but it doesn't make Jaylon a great player because he came back from injury. Ok, lets say an amazing Lawyer gets shot in the head and comes back half as smart when he finally comes to. Is he still the same Lawyer? Ever see "Regarding Henry"? Just sayin'. It's feel good that Jaylon is playing again but he is not the same player he was. YET...not saying he can't be but right now he is a shell. So why does he get to play when there are players better than him on the roster? I think it is a fair question.

I do think it is beside the point. Someone just asked for examples and examples were given but they weren't good examples because they didn't have their peroneal nerve severed or they weren't taken at the exact slot or whatever. It doesn't matter. What matters is what Jaylon is doing ON THE FIELD and it ain't real good so far. Sorry if that is harsh but it is reality. The facts of that reality really seem to rub people the wrong way. Oh well......

Huh? What the hell are you talking about?

Me telling you that Kuechly is a generational LB without nerve damage sounds like a moral victory??

Wut?

I didn't mention Jaylon, just highlighted how absurd your post was.

Like, wut?

Go take a timeout.

No I just gave an example you didn't like. The question was, name one LB that was amazing their rookie season. I gave it and people broke down like cheap Christmas cookies.. No big deal..

Again, I gave a simple answer to a simple question, see the first couple of posts. My answer wasn't wrong. Just not a good enough comparison for you.

Fair enough.

I don't like the comparison, Stiletto.

Cheers, amigo.
