Great post!

Pick the really elite guys who started that way.

Only give one name.

Claim many others.

Cherrypick. Pound chest.

Smith is supposed to be one of those "elite guys".

It's not that he's not elite, it's the fact that's he's just bad right now. There's growing pains and then there is just a downright stupid looking player. He's the stupid player out there.

Frankly, I think all these defensive players need a new DC.

I asked for one?

No, I understand what actual evidence and arguments look like

guy, we literally have two phenomenal impact rookie players that played at probowl level from the beginning on our offense in Zeke and Dak.

Russel wilson, cam newton, JJ watt, andrew luck, etc

No I just gave an example you didn't like. The question was, name one LB that was amazing their rookie season. I gave it and people broke down like cheap Christmas cookies.. No big deal..
An example? Luke for Jaylon? Like that is/ was even an option?

WTH is your point? Minus the top of your head.........

OK, you just want to argue to look like a hotshot. Read the first few posts. A poster asked me to name ONE player who played awesome at linebacker as a rookie. I name Luke. What is the problem with that?

Then I name 3 other guys and OMG..."those guys were taken so far ahead of Jaylon". See what I mean?

Here's the thing. I just call it like I see it ON THE FIELD. Right now Jaylon is terrible. Not worthy of even playing on the Dallas Cowboys defense. Maybe he will be next year, I don't know but right now. No... it's coaches and ownership hoping for a moral victory at this point. He's terrible. Again, it is what it is.

I have come the conclusion that those that hate on Jaylon do it because he is so obviously a fine young man that they know is so much a better person then they are themselves that they must hate him or commit suicide.
Are you insane?

There is nothing wrong with pointing out major wholes in a players game. Get a grip.

Jaylon was good and bad today......just like all our defenders

When the game slows for him and his feet match his brain he will be a force

No. You didn't. You asked if Dallas would trade for Luke and that is a pipe dream.

Check yourself, bro. Crap in one hand and wish in the other......see which fills up first.

Most elite guys never started that way.

Did anyone notice when Jaylon came into the game the Commanders went no huddle. My first thought was they went no huddle because they didn't want Dallas to sub Jaylon out.

Did anyone else see that or draw that conclusion?

Check out Vicious Dogs, my brother, 88. You'll never think of Pink's again.

Altho, Pink's is amazing.

That’s a strong recommendation! I’m gonna have to give it a go! If I’m out in the field this week I’ll look it up! Thanks bro

Most elite guys DO NOT start that way.

It's ridiculous for you to say most elite guys start out as bad as he has. No one is saying he should be playing at an all-pro level, but goodness, at least be a competent player.

I simply asked you if you would take Jaylon over Keuchly if you had the choice right now? You took it literal like it was a draft decision. Are you autistic or what?

And phenomenal impact players like Sean Lee, Jason Witten, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, and Troy Aikman, who did not.

Don't pick.

There are clearly more elite players who developed than who came out gangbusters.
