Again, another one who is saying, there has never been someone like Jaylon Smith, who has done better than Jaylon Smith. Good job. LOL.

He's a BUST so far at the 2nd round slot. B-U-S-T. Excuses are like you know what....get over it.

Careful they will be all over you for being critical of a player.

I simply asked you if you would take Jaylon over Keuchly if you had the choice right now? You took it literal like it was a draft decision. Are you autistic or what?
There is no choice McFly........

i guess we have to critique his play since he’s out there. that’s fine. it’s expected. he’s not great. he’s better at blitzing though than backpedaling and shedding blocks. keep him limited at this point. he was really getting exposed out there on 60 plays a game. 2018 will tell us a lot of smith as a player. his nerve should be at the maximum point of recovery. and he will have 1 year of experience under his belt

LOL, a Back to the Future reference. I like that one. You get points for that. So what is your choice Mr. Aspergers?
Uhhhh...the reality one?

How about we pick between Bosa and Mayowa? That work for you?

Just an example, of course.

And phenomenal impact players like Sean Lee, Jason Witten, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, and Troy Aikman, who did not.

Don't pick.

There are clearly more elite players who developed than who came out gangbusters.

Sean Lee actually showed signs his rookie year of being a playmaker.

Smith? Not so much. And that's with even more talent around him (believe it or not, 2010 was getting that bad)

Jaylon is going to be a high level, stud player, if his nerve finishes regenerating to 100%

People can criticize his current play all they want. He isn’t playing well right now. But it’s foolish to think that because he is struggling now, his first year playing while not 100% means that he is a bust or a wasted pick.

Next season will be the real indicator on what we have with Jaylon.

I respect that opinion totally. That doesn't mean he should be out there right now though. Right??

Different topic. The fact you wont admit youd take Keuchly over Jaylon proves you drink Homer-soup instead of good whiskey...lol

Yep for some anyone who puts the Star on is untouchable.... especially guys who are "feel good". Jaylon is apparently our Rudy. Unfortunately Rudy was a better player for his team.. <ducks>

There's no doubt he's proven more disruptive when limited to part-time duty. In the last two weeks, we've seen a sack/fumble, him help finish off another sack, and nearly haul in a fantastic interception. Didn't really see any of that through the first five weeks.

I'm big critic of Jaylon. He's a major part of our three losses. But I sure as hell am not going to interject a fairy tale scenario......

Simple hypothesis, what are you too big in the britches? Seems snotty..or are you just one of those "guys"?...cant say the real word.

Here’s my take on Jaylon

Dude is going to be a player he is flashing more and more. What I see is someone who hasn’t quite adjusted to the speed of the NFL and if you add to the fact he’s coming off that crazy injury with a nerve that isn’t fully healed doesn’t help.

I don’t think he trusts his body to do what his eyes see if that makes sense. He will get better there is no doubt in my mind. I think what Dallas is doing is good, but they need to be a bit more selective when to put him in. Right now he’s best coming off the edge or blitzing straight line at the QB.

Asking him to cover sideline to sideline right now is a disservice to him as he can’t do it physically yet. That stretch out almost pick shows he is gaining that all world athleticism back. He will be better at shedding the blocks and attacking. He’s 7 games in after a devastating knee injury where many thought he’d never play again.

I do have to ask though all the people complaining about him Dez, Dak etc... Do you think if you complain long enough and loud enough they will magically be gone?

Good analysis. Do you think he should be in there as much as he is in key situations?? Right now??

I think that is grey/gray area so to speak. Last week against SF he had that huge sack and this week he almost had a pick and a half of sack. I think the coaches need to do a better job at picking situations for him to succeed and build his confidence

Yeah, I'm conviced on a passing down, it is a bad idea he is out there right now. Definitely blitz packages for now thats about it...
