Trade ya for the 3-6" of snow we're getting tomorrow!Too warm for Christmas in Dallas.
But certainly a beautiful day to get outdoors later.
I would if it was only for a week or two!Trade ya for the 3-6" of snow we're getting tomorrow!
Down there it'd probably only last a day or two.I would if it was only for a week or two!
There'd me more car wrecks the first day than you get in a monthDown there it'd probably only last a day or two.
I remember that from last year. Plus the infrastructure isn't designed to withstand a winter storm. There'd me more car wrecks the first day than you get in a month
This place freaks out over the minimum
If that's a temperature "drop" I'd trade with you in a heartbeatTemps dropped to 70 today in Naples.
Agreed! I friggin' hate winter - especially when it snows! I got about another inch or two of it last night, but it was fluffy enough to use my leaf blower where my snowblower has problems navigating. If that's a temperature "drop" I'd trade with you in a heartbeat
Where I am its been snowing pretty steadily for about 4 days
Crap we got last night is that moisture laden heavy wet snow that just about destroys your back and body when trying to shovel it
Temps have been colder than average with lots of wind until yesterday. Wind chills were single digits to below zero Monday
My opinion of winter can only be described as a pure, white hot, visceral hatred, and it gets more pronounced every year. It just makes me angry and depressed for about 4 solid months.
What a lousy, putrid time of year.
I hear ya brother.Agreed! I friggin' hate winter - especially when it snows! I got about another inch or two of it last night, but it was fluffy enough to use my leaf blower where my snowblower has problems navigating.
Shut up.Perfection in Dallas

Agreed.Shut up.![]()

I drive a 35' straight truck. I hated driving big trucks. Fortunately, if I think conditions are too unsafe, I can just refuse to drive in it. My employer is pretty good that way. The truck weighs about 10 tons empty, so it handles snow pretty well. It's the other people on the road I worry about.I hear ya brother.
IIRC, you're a truck driver aren't you?
Gotta be tough trying to navigate an 18 wheeler on icy roads in snowy conditions.... be safe man. Happy New Year!
Thats cool that your boss has that takeI drive a 35' straight truck. I hated driving big trucks. Fortunately, if I think conditions are too unsafe, I can just refuse to drive in it. Sorry to correct you again, but I drive locally (CT, NYC, Upstate NY, Long Island, MA, NJ, and RI). I'm not OTR - but I do bring shtuff where it needs to get. I deliver lumber, which was an exception to the rules of the quarantine, so I didn't get that time off, with free money. I still miss the empty city streets though!Thats cool that your boss has that take
Also not for nothing but I really am thankful for OTR drivers such as yourself
My son in law drives truck
You guys spend your time getting sh!t where it needs to get to so folks everywhere are able to get/buy what they need to survive
It can be tough and at times (weather, other drivers etc) it can be dangerous
Thanks for doing what you do to make our country go. Godspeed my friend.
PS 78 days until spring officially begins.... not that I'm counting.....![]()
