pretty strong odds they'd be 6-0 with the way this run game is rolling and this secondary is playing... but we'll never know.

Good for Dak though. 5-1 is awesome.

It'd look different, but I'm still saying 5-1 for either.

People need to relax on this, can we wait until Tony is fully healthy and cleared to go before we make this an issue.
It's not even an issue in my opinion. It's a by-product of impatience and sensationalism. The decision will be made in time. There isn't an illogical choice for either player, simply illogical external expectations.

When answering, people should declare whether they are Romo fans our Cowboys fans first. I know a lot of people who follow a team because their favorite QB plays there.
Are you suggesting that a Cowboys fan can't think Romo would be a better option at QB? I voted Romo and I'm a Cowboys fan. If you could guarantee a SB win with Dak, or a SB loss withRomo, then give meDak all day long. Otherwise, I'll hang with Romo for the time being. I'm thrilled with Dak...I'm convinced he's our future franchise QB. However, at this point, Romo has forgotten more than Dak knows. I'm deliriously thrilled with our QB situation. If management stays with Dak, I won't question them. I'm happy no matter what.

What if Romo does complicate this offense? With his audibles, would the play-calling remain looking so good? We don't exactly have the smartest receivers in the league, maybe they need a simple offense.
In my opinion, this is, hands down, the most intelligent question and observation posed by anyone (fans, media, etc.) that I've read or heard having to do with Romo as the starter. I don't have an answer but it has puzzled me for a very long time. Receivers not lining up correctly. Players seemingly more nervous than necessary (e.g. committing false starts, etc.). Linemen occasionally confused about blocking assignments. Receivers not getting open. Etc. Etc. It's weird but some part of it may have something to do with basic mental comprehension.

If Romo is healthy how short of a leash does Dak get if he still starts? FO needs to announce who starter is at that time and go with him hell or high water, not fair to Dak to be looking over his shoulder.

I voted Dak since these polls started.

Kinda like how it's not fair to lose your job because of injury to a dink and dunk player riding the coattails of others? Dak is tough, he can deal.

How is anybody with an ounce of objectivity struggling with this? Dak and the balanced offense has to stay. It has been just what this team needed.

Romo, but it's nice to be able to get behind either one and feel you have a great chance in any game.

can't believe how many are still voting Romo. Start Dak and keep Romo benched until you need him.

Some are thinking with their hearts. It's tough to look to the future and yet see Romo in the rear-view.

I myself have never had any issues moving on from players. It's a business first and winning is the job description. Right now Dak is taking care of business.

I'm not saying Romo is done but it's a real possibility, at least with the Cowboys. I'm sympathetic to those that have attachments...up to a point.

If Romo was healthy, they'd still be 5-1. That's the point.

This offensive line is the star. And Zeke. The QB doesn't have to do as much as before.

For a rookie, Dak had done an amazing job of keeping poised and making good decisions for a young QB. But he's not lighting it up. The run game is doing that.

Completely disagree. Dak has led very long inpressive drives and does things Romo simply can't do. He is the biggest difference maker this year.

I was sad when Roger, Danny and Troy's time came to an end but sooner or later you have to move on. Tony's been great but he's an aging injury prone QB. The future is now. Let Tony be the backup for the time being. We'll use him if he's needed. Right now you can't stop the momentum.

Right, Romo is so brilliant and everyone around him is so dumb. So that is why we do better with Dak, things are so basic for the offense. Is this what you are trying to say?

It's simple. They are voting with their hearts. You don't mess with a team that has won 5 straight and whipping teams. Our team chemistry is off the charts right now. Dak is playing lights out football and the team is jumping on his back.
