Don't Try To Fix What Ain't broke
DEN went back to Peyton last year and won the SB.....Romo's ceiling is vaulted with exposed beams, Dak's just has some nice crown molding

I still think Romo should get a last shot to keep the job. Call it Romo's Last Ride™. Dak has plenty of time ahead of him, Romo is almost at the end. Give him that last shot.

But if it doesn't happen I'll support Dak 100%.

I voted romo but i cant get behind this reasoning. I go to him if i think he brings more to the offense. And thats what I think.

Dak has never even played the Eagles and you say it's his team

You are a premature congratulator
Who cares about the Eagles? He has led this team to victory vs better teams than the Eagles. He will shred the Eagles.

Sticking with Romo, because I think Dak needs to keep it going until Romo's healthy enough to start before I make a final decision, but realistically, if he beats PHI and plays well (better than he did in GB, for that matter), the job should be his.

It's simple. They are voting with their hearts. You don't mess with a team that has won 5 straight and whipping teams. Our team chemistry is off the charts right now. Dak is playing lights out football and the team is jumping on his back.[/QUOT
agreed

I really thought this would be 70% Dak, 30% Romo. Maybe if the beat the Eagles?

Tony until he shows he no longer has it or gets injured again. Theres nothing not to like about Dak, but I believe a healthy Tony helps us more NOW....if Im wrong, Im ok with that too....because Im a Cowboys fan.

If you think about it, having 60% of the forum move away from Tony Romo after a 5 game winning streak that included some good, but not great, teams...that's pretty impressive commentary on how well Dak has played.

It really is. I was full on the Romo bandwagon up until the last couple of weeks. I'm sitting at 50/50 right now. I can completely see both sides of this and whatever the team chooses, I'll understand and support.

I think this is Dak's team starting next year though.

Romo deserves a last shot for playoff run.

Right now, Dak is doing a great job of helping Romo get there. Unlike backups from last year.

I voted for Dak. Romo can stay on the bench and get healthy and at this point I'm not so sure Romo is better. At his prime yes but I'm not so sure Romo is in his prime anymore. Team is responding very well and we are winning.

I'm a Cowboys fan first and no need to change anything right now.

P.S Dak went into GB in his first game there and won, even making mistakes he moved on and help get us the W. Been a long time since we got a W against GB much less at GB. Dak is special

The last I heard Jerry said Tony's back was completely healed but now the had to get his core into shape. He gave no indication of how long this was expected to take, only that he was looking forward to making a decision on who starts the second half of the season when Dak is still winning and Tony is ready. That could mean his decision regarding whether to start Tony or Dak against the Browns could rest on if Dak beats the Eagles.

I kind of understand where Jerry is coming from, but Dak having to beat the Eagles to earn the opportunity to start against the Browns just seems weird.

I think the Cowboys are kinda hoping the issue kinda resolves itself in a way. That maybe Dak has a shaky game or something and makes the decision easier. He's not making it easy though. Plus, Romo isn't ready yet and it sounds like he won't even be considered until Cleveland. Just let it play out and see I guess.

I need to see Dak win a game on his own doing like we've seen Romo do dozens of times.

That's probably not fair, but so far, it's been more about the line and Zeke.

Understand, I do love what Dak is doing, and he's going to be the guy soon anyway, so it's not bad either way.

Listen up, my FRIENDS!
I'M already on record at about the 1 win/ 1 loss,, that the 'dak-attack' is where it's AT(CAT-DADDY)
myself and GOD ALMIGHTY LOVE TONY ROMO!,,, BUT,,,,

Figured Dak would overtake the lead if beat Green Bay.

I voted for Romo and I'm just thinking a similar situation (young QB) was for 49ers a few of years ago with Kaepernick who took place for Alex Smith while he was hurt.

He got the momentum and went to the Super Bowl to loose it. The 49ers were thinking to have their solution at QB and what happened?

I believe that we finally got a nice replacement for Romo on time, but he still needs to learn more and it will help him a lot to learn from the guy who has tons of records and positive thinks for the Cowboys (our Cowboys).

Let the kid learn from Tony (good and bad things, to make it better) and prepare him to become the next QB for the Cowboys for many years to come. Someone who can be more than just a momentum.

I'm sure Tony will help him a lot!

I voted yes only because I want to see Romo throw these teams out of these 8-man fronts and see what Zeke can do.

But I want to ride the Dak wave, too. We're surfing well at the moment, but turbulence lies ahead somewhere. It'll all work out.
Classic bad-*** *** opinion! It would be horrific for the ' opponent' to even have to game plan against that concept!,,,,, Well done,my good sir!
