It is not accurate to say the Patriots denied access to McNally when asked for followup interviews. Wells had 4 interviews with McNally and was denied a 5th.
It takes awhile to link all the parts together.
Reminder McNally changed his story a few times.

Oh, so if I exaggerate to make a point its a complete lie, but when you've done it, its justified?
The exaggeration you gave implies that I was not happy with the punishment given to the Vikings or to the Falcons and that I advocated in favor of stricter punishment for each of those teams - and that is a complete lie.

I have never said that I thought either of those teams should have been punished more severely. I made fun of people who call a 1st round draft pick a "slap on the wrist" when comparing it to what the Falcons got. I have also used the Vikings' punishment as a basis for how seriously the league takes the whole issue of tampering with gameday balls.

Right, wasnt the 5th denied using the "work/job" excuse?

What I meant is he had to know he'd take heat for starting a thread linking a report that in no way is friendly to the Patriots. I think that shows that he was/is willing to let the findings speak for themselves even if they go against what he argued for. To me, that takes some guts. I realize there were heated discussions going back and forth. I read just a fraction of the comments because there were so many. I got involved back in January with the Deflategate issue because the technical arguments intrigued me and that's where I weighed in. I didn't take/am not taking sides then/now - just looking at the data and findings. (All I had this morning was coffee) :)

Rogah draws no quarter when the case is in doubt and deserves no quarter when the there is proof that the organization cheated.

All Rogah did was beat others to the punch to creating a thread that gave the news that the Patriots did indeed cheat. So, you're merely looking at seconds of him posting this thread before somebody else did.

In the meantime, he's tried to minimize the impact of the actual cheating which for months he said never existed. And now he's claiming that people are lying about DeflateGate while making up 'facts' of his own like claiming that the Saints were somehow caught red handed in BountyGate which never happened.

Mind you, the months of him calling people idiots and haters (literally) to the point where he challenged my ability and expertise in my livelihood simply because I showed where he lacks expertise in statistics as he was wrong about defining Warren Sharp's analysis as a 'correlation' when it is about 'trends' and 'outliers.'

Rogah only posted in this thread because ducking the topic now that the evidence has come out would send him off to internet Siberia. He could have saved face by just admitting that the Patriots cheated and deserve every bit of criticism and skepticism about their success and that the organization simply cannot be trusted. He could also issue people like myself, Warren Sharp and Bill Nye an apology. Instead, he has continued to deflect and try to minimize how wrong he was.

If anything it completely discredits Rogah in any future arguments because it's obvious that he will stoop to any level just so he doesn't have to admit that he was wrong. He's allergic to a mea culpa.

Nah, you've acted for months like the Falcons and Vikings committed some HUGE cheating offence. And tried to equate the Pats lying and cheating as repeat offenders to being on the same level. You exaggerated the seriousness of the Falcons and Vikings infractions while trying to down play the significance of Brady cheating. Thats the bottom line when all your smokescreens have dissipated

Address the question. How did the Cowboys cheat the cap? You sound like a gnats fan, talk like a gnats fan, dress like a gnats fan(avatar), crap on the Cowboys like a gnats fan. but I haven't seen you walk, nor desire to.

Why didn't Jerry appeal the cap violation?

Me, a Giants fan? LOL...speak of clueless

The biggest deflection is not giving other violations anywhere the bandwidth this one has - one that does not involve domestic violence or substance abuse.

The inconsistency of Goodell's punishments pales to members biases here....some of the same members would like Goodell fired.

He filed a lawsuit and then rescinded it. I'm thinking it was for the "betterment of the league" type logic. Because if they sue the league, then that strengthens the suit that the NFLPA brought against them.

Walks like a duck, talks like a duck, wears red white and blue like a duck....But maybe duck is a Pats fan?

Jones and Snyder both decided to not appeal the decision. There was collusion going on in the NFL, and it's no surprise you support that kind of illegal activity. Their appeal would have opened a huge can of worms. There were no salary cap violations by the Cowboys and Commanders. How can there be when it was supposed to be an uncapped season per the CBA? Another clue that you're a Gnats fan is you believe in stupid things like "spirits of the cap".

Bottom line: The Patriots have shown a repeated trend of behavior. First with Spygate, and now this.

They were fined a total of $750K for Spygate and lost their first-round pick.

Sean Payton was suspended for a year because "ignorance is not an excuse", according to Goodell.

And you are fool-hearty if you think that was the inky game Brady messed with the balls or the inky game Belichick spied.

Payton will be ticked off of they go light after what he received.

I never said the Patriots denied access to McNally, I said they denied access to McNally when they asked to do followup interviews. The number of times does not matter.

He has been on record of saying he was going to QUIT being a Cowboys fan and just be a Patriots fan.

So you got the wrong team initially but you hit the nail on the head.

I would go so far to say that if he starts his act up again like he did before his time will be short on this site as I have no patience for someone who claims he is going to quit being a cowboys fan, be a fan of another team and still come back on this forum starting crap.

Nope. Not going to fly anymore.

Yes it does. Your statement is extremely misleading - perhaps deliberately so, perhaps inadvertantly.

He knows to pick and choose battles. And he took the high road and didnt piss and moan. Meanwhile the real cheating owner threw a hissy fit over the Wells Report. You know that report that Rogah has been saying for months will reveal the truth!

Cheating by breaking the rules of the game directly influences, or can influence the outcome of games and goes against sportsmanship and a level playing field. Integrity of the game issues. DV and substance abuse while serious are individual issues on a personal level. Completely different scenarios.

The only inconsistency from Goodell is going lite on punishing the Pats in the past while dropping the hammer on other teams for lesser sins.
