What color is the sky on your world? Saying "f*** Tom" and talking about sabotaging the guy's work speaks 100% to professionalism.

You seem to be woefully unaware that these were team issued cell phones. Any conversation about your job and the performance of your job and your opinions about your colleagues taking place on a team issued cell phone is fair game to be used in determining whether or not you keep that job.

You have absolutely ZERO expectation to privacy when you are discussing your job, your duties and your colleagues on equipment provided by your employer.

So where is Brady's "professionalism" in pressuring two "minimum wage guys", as you put it, to act illegally? That's the issue here, not Billy and Bobby having a private conversation that has no bearing on anything in question.

You're right. They should cut Brady and keep the two minimum wage dipsh**s.

Keep trying to deflect, buddy...but where did I ever say they should cut Brady? I'll ask you again, where is Brady's professionalism in all of this? Two relatively low level guys performed an illegal act based on Brady's pressure/orders...basically, they did what they were told to do by Brady. Brady is the culprit. Where is his professionalism in this?

The author of the report used the civil standard of guilt to make his decision sound credible without presenting the defense, which could easily push it back in the other direction It's nothing but a railroad. Brady's agent said he was interviewed for almost a whole day and the transcripts of those interviews were not included in a document of over 200 pages. That is hardly the way to present an impartial report.

Hope they give him a 10 game suspension...just to show that the league is "serious" and then they can appeal it down to a lesser suspension.

The reason they used that standard of proof is right there in the first footnote on page 1. It's the standard of proof required to find a violation under the NFL policy. The law firm was asked to investigate whether a violation occurred based on the NFL's standard of proof, and that's what they did.

I would be shocked if Goodell dared to piss off Kraft by doing that (four game suspension).

As I understood it, Brady's interview was not included because he said nothing of substance. He refused to allow them access to his phone/text records which is where any damning evidence would be found. If the guy (Brady) had nothing to hide, he should have been completely open and cooperative.

So it's Brady's fault that a guy wrote "F*** Tom" on a team issued cell phone? Can't say I agree with you there. I don't care how much of an ****** your boss is. If you start sending out "F*** my boss" e-mails and texts on company issued computers and phones, that's a pretty good recipe for getting fired.

I complain about my boss when I'm having a beer with my friend. I sure as heck don't do it on my work-issued cell phone, computer or work e-mail.

OK, if you want to fire those two guys for saying "f*** Tom" on their company phone, then do it. But if you're going to demand that those two guys get fired for saying "f*** Tom" because Brady is pressuring them to do something illegal, then where does that put Brady in all of this? If they should be fired, then what should happen to Brady? Where is his professionalism?

Brady will be disciplined by the league for his actions. Beyond that, I am not sure what unprofessionalism you are referring to.

During the NO Bountygate scandal, didn't Goodell state, "Ignorance is not an excuse"? I think those words are going to haunt him. I think Goodell has to come down hard on NE.

Well, the law firm did a lousy job, and they would be the first to tell us that if we hired them to look at the objectivity of their own report and they gave us an honest evaluation. Everyone knows it is easy to make a point if you leave out opposing arguments, by the target of the investigation in this case. Try to picture a civil case in which the sound is turned off and the image is blurred out when the defendant takes the stand.

Brady is currently scheduled to make a public appearance at some college on stage with Jim Gray tonight. I don't know if they are going to cancel, but I would be very interested in hearing what he has to say about the whole thing.

You called the two equipment guys unprofessional and said they should be fired. I responded that it was Brady's actions that led them to say what they said by directing them to act illegally. If they were "unprofessional", then what the hell was Tom Brady? Did he act professionally? Did he not play the central role in this whole thing? Would those two guys texts/phone records ever have been known were it not for Tom Brady? Look at the bolded part of your post above and then match it to the bolded part in my response, maybe that'll help you..

Is a certain member seriously trying to get everyone to turn against two equipment guys, instead of the cheating ******* who was in charge of them and telling them how he likes his balls? My word some Pats fans will stoop to whatever lengths just exonerate Tom. Unbelievable.
