Well now you're cherry picking what to believe in the report. I think the league will have a hard time punishing Belichick when the report concluded Belichick didn't know.

No cherry picking needed.
The report wasnt even needed.

Tom Brady likes balls that are underinflated.
The investigation begins and ends in that one sentence.

The patriots should only be allowed to cheat when they are playing the stealers. New rule.

Aikman is going to have a field day with this.

He was pissed about what he accomplished, pats and Brady bring compared to 90s salad teams and the pats affecting the integrity of the league.

Report says 75% of Colts ball underinflated...below minimum psi. Are they getting popped too.?

From page seven of the report:

At halftime, under Riveron‟s supervision, two alternate game officials (Clete Blakeman and Dyrol Prioleau) tested eleven Patriots game balls and four Colts game balls. The Patriots ball intercepted by the Colts was not among the eleven Patriots balls tested. Each official used a separate air pressure gauge provided by referee Anderson that Anderson had brought with him to the game, one of which also had been used by Anderson for his pre-game inspection. Each of the eleven Patriots balls tested at halftime measured below the minimum 12.5 psi level established by the Playing Rules on both gauges. Each of the four Colts balls tested measured within the permissible 12.5 to 13.5 psi range on at least one of the gauges.

https://nfllabor.files.wordpress.co...s-re-footballs-used-during-afc-championsh.pdf

The Patriot balls were measured as low as 10.7 PSI, while the Colt balls were measured as low as 12.15. Huge difference imo.

Edit: It should also be noted that they did not feel the need to inflate the Colt footballs because they measured at least 12.5 on one of the gauges while they had to inflate all eleven of the Patriot balls

Chairman and CEO Robert Kraft on the Wells Report
Wednesday, May 06, 2015 12:55 PM EDT
By New England Patriots
@patriots
“When I addressed the media at the Super Bowl on January 26 – over 14 weeks ago – I stated that I unconditionally believed that the New England Patriots had done nothing inappropriate in this process or in violation of the NFL rules and that I was disappointed in the way the league handled the initial investigation. That sentiment has not changed.
“I was convinced that Ted Wells’ investigation would find the same factual evidence supported by both scientific formula and independent research as we did and would ultimately exonerate the Patriots. Based on the explanations I have heard and the studies that have been done, I don’t know how the science of atmospheric conditions can be refuted or how conclusions to the contrary can be drawn without some definitive evidence.
“What is not highlighted in the text of the report is that three of the Colts’ four footballs measured by at least one official were under the required psi level. As far as we are aware, there is no comparable data available from any other game because, in the history of the NFL, psi levels of footballs have never been measured at halftime, in any climate. If they had been, based on what we now know, it is safe to assume that every cold-weather game was played with under inflated footballs. As compelling a case as the Wells Report may try to make, I am going to rely on the factual evidence of numerous scientists and engineers rather than inferences from circumstantial evidence.
“Throughout the process of this nearly four-month investigation, we have cooperated and patiently awaited its outcome. To say we are disappointed in its findings, which do not include any incontrovertible or hard evidence of deliberate deflation of footballs at the AFC Championship game, would be a gross understatement. In addition, given our level of cooperation throughout the process, I was offended by the comments made in the Wells Report in reference to not making an individual available for a follow-up interview. What the report fails to mention is that he had already been interviewed four times and we felt the fifth request for access was excessive for a part-time game day employee who has a full-time job with another employer.
“While I respect the independent process of the investigation, the time, effort and resources expended to reach this conclusion are incomprehensible to me. Knowing that there is no real recourse available, fighting the league and extending this debate would prove to be futile. We understand and greatly respect the responsibility of being one of 32 in this league and, on that basis, we will accept the findings of the report and take the appropriate actions based on those findings as well as any discipline levied by the league.”

The science of atmospheric conditions??? Kraft is a tool if he seriously believes this. And is an even bigger tool if he thinks anyone else buys that crap. :D

Goodell will protect his pet cats(Patriots, Gnats, and Whiners). No punishment will come to the Cheatriots.

Also, to the Poster who said Pats don't have a clean Dynasty like the Cowboys, Steelers, and Whiners....

Steelers were on Roids. 49ers cheated the salary cap in 94. Cowboys, they're guilty of something we just don't know what yet. Pats are a bunch of cheaters and should be punished, you know they won't be though. Pet Cats. Look at them to be punished as much as McDonald of the Whiners last season.

Did anyone read the texts between the ball guys? They act like Tom is forcing them (and bribing them) to do it. A lot of swear words towards Tom.

Another thing to consider, willful ignorance is not an acceptable excuse. Even if Bill didn't know, he is the head coach and he should have known.

"Ignorance is not a suitable defense" Goodell's words to the Saints a few years ago. Expect the Saints to really cause a stink on this if they do not punish BB.

Do you know approximately where in the report that their texts were reference? I'd like to go read it, but don't want to search 243 pages to find that one part. Thanks.

the report starting on page 74, titled "IV. Communications between Jastremski and McNallyPrior to the AFC Championship Game" Here is the link: http://static.nfl.com/static/content...0000491381.pdf

this goes to the integrity of the game if Goodell and the nfl don't take this serious and really take some hard justice on this will almost cripple football from now on. The officials the game scores cannot be trusted also vegas will suffer because the betting on the sport will go way down this is really big deal.
