What are the chances that we cut Roy during TC??

Roy will see a continued lessoning of his role and playing time like last year and his value Long Term may be a Special Teams role.

Unfortunately we vastly overpaid for Roy. I don't see him cut but I can see a Safety starting tandem that does not include Roy maybe as soon as this season.

Unless Hamlin can play SS and Watkins is ready to be a starter I doubt it happens.

the star on his helmet doesn't do that for you huh?
Good to know where you stand.
So because he's a fan he's not allowed to criticize the team?

As much as I dislike Roy, the chances are zero... His cap hit would be too much for Jerry to absorb especially when he's trying to lock up Ware and Canty.

NONE... And I believe he will succeed under Dave Campo this year..... Roy A Cowboy For Life.......

I thought as a Cowboy fan, one of your duties was to support you know...Cowboys

The point of the message board is to express your opinion about your team. Just because he's a Cowboy doesn't necessarily mean you have to like the guy. He's a huge ? when it comes to coverage and some would argue that his inability to cover has cost the Cowboys some games over the past few years.

support is not liking someone, it's hoping for the best from them and for them

it doesn't mean you praise, or criticize them, it means as a Cowboy, you want them to do well

our team is only better when everyone apart of it plays better

No, I respect players who play up to their abilities.

As I've said about a billion times on this board, I like Roy, I like what he does when he's playing his best. However, I haven't seen that lately. What I have seen is a thin-skinned guy who may not be as committed as he once was.

You can "star on his helmet" all you want but unless you want to go back in time and slam everyone who talked crap about say, Al Johnson, Julius Jones, et al. then it really is a hollow statement.

you mean like i've said about Roy over and over? I've said 100s of times that I like Roy and want him to do well.

That doesn't mean I can't criticize the crap out of him.

look up the definition of support

it does not include anything about it being based on someone's abilities, or do you think that parents shouldnt' support their kids if they are crappy?

not saying you can't or shouldn't criticize him

just this he has to earn our support is a bunch of crap

I'm happy if he succeeds. But I'm not giving any love until he does something positive. You like that term better?

Look at the post I was responding to -- the claims that he'd turned over a new leaf, etc. That's all show me stuff. Show me that you turned over a new leaf, show me that you've rededicated. I'm not giving him credit for talk.
