The point of the message board is to express your opinion about your team. Just because he's a Cowboy doesn't necessarily mean you have to like the guy. He's a huge ? when it comes to coverage and some would argue that his inability to cover has cost the Cowboys some games over the past few years.

Can we really afford to keep this guy on the team anymore (player wise)? He is such a liability and I think he has become a big distraction to the team. Sometimes you just have to cut your losses. Think of all the teams that have done it already. We have 10 left under the cap....I say do it this camp.

Either that or he's going to be the highest paid special teams guy in the league!

Who said anything about beat writers? NFL scouts have been talking about his inability to cover since he was a freshman and it's clear that it's carried over into the NFL. He used to get a pass because of his great hitting and tackling ability, but this year even that took a huge hit and went down hill this past season.

I'll assume that you attend Cowboy games, how can you honestly sit here and say you haven't noticed the same thing all the scouts said? If you don't go to the games it's understandable because you can't see everything on TV, but even then. Anytime a WR catches a deep ball guess who's standing there after the catch? That you can see on TV.

I agree, I said Roy would not be cut, but role will continue to decline as his coverage and tackling skills erode. Could be a ST stud for years - not sure his heart is in that and his new wage scale to be.

he is a good player, thats not debatable unless you have an agenda

I am objective, I see it as it is, not as I want to.

Roy is a good player, anyone who says otherwise is wrong.
