That's funny... I hope this a tradition? in that you get to tackle a Commander fan every week?

Hahaha! I love my neighbors. They are truly great people, but are 'homers', when the 'Skins win!!

Getting up bright and early at the hotel and eat a big breakfast. Wait for Danny White to come by and pick us up. Got to the Corral and continue to experience my first ever Cowboys Home Game. Go in the stadium and drink in the history but not before having my picture taken with Tom Landry's statue. Then watch the Cowboys smack Eli around for a while all the way to a win.

The only thing that would make it better is if Nick Folk pulls a hammy sometime in the third quarter. A cowboys coach notices me in the stand and recognizes my superior athletic ability because it is exuding form the stand. He points his finger at me and says "You, the team needs you. I come on to kick the game winning field goal. I line it up with 3 seconds left. The snap, the hold, the kick. It sails straight for the right upright and clanks off of it and deflects itself through for the win.

As the camera pans to me I look straight into the camera and say, "Hey Hostile! That one's for you!" :D

(I know how much he just loves kickers :p: )

OK Fellas,

First game of the season is coming UP!

How do you plan on spending the first big Sunday of the year?

I am trying to find a good Recipe for Burgers?
Anyone have a good one that wants to share?

I am having freinds and family over.

What are you doing?

I got one, which is pretty great if you want to try it.

1. Ground Chuck (1/2 - 90-95% fat free)
2. Ground Beef (1/2 - 85% fat free)
3. Egg.
4. Parsley bunch.
5. Red Onion Chopped.
6. Worcestire Sauce (1-2 Tsp depending on your taste).
7. BBQ Sauce (again 1-2 Tsp depending of taste).
8. 4-5 Cloves of Garlic.
9. Salt.
10. White Pepper.

I giving ingredients for 6-8 Burgers, so you increase Sauces etc. depending on how many you are making or rather the meat. I am probably giving for total 2 Lbs of Meat.

Just pour the Egg into both meats without mixing the meat first. Then put the Onions, Chopped Parsley, Salt, Chopped Garlic (tiny pieces), Sauces, White pepper, and mix it gently.

Then make patties ( kind of like Donut) and have fun.

Wake up at 8:00. I'll feel sick, but I'll still go to church.
9:00 am: Look at my watch thinking, "only ten more hours". Fidgit in Sunday School.
10:30: Sit through sermon trying to listen....but will probably run through all possible scenarios of game...pray for forgiveness for putting FB before God.
12:00: Get irritated with my wife as she talks to everyone before getting into the car....I'm late for KO.
12:07: Watch every game on Sunday Ticket....will spend no more than 30 seconds on each game. You see, I have a gift of being able to know exactly what's going on in a game just by watching 30 seconds...my wife leaves the living room irritated by my channel surfing.
3:00: Begin pacing nervously.
5:00: Eat dinner (I'll have no idea what I'm eating)
5:20: Throw up
6:00: Begin having dry heaves.
6:58: Throw up one more time....wife takes the kids to friend's house.
7:00: Continue pacing whole game. As soon as the Giants make their first first down, I'll proclaim the game lost, and throw remote across room.
10:30: Surf internet until 2:00

There you have it....I'm a wreck on game days.

Going to get up, walk the dog. Play with my 2 year old for a few..

Then watch the cowboys pregame show "The Huddle" with laufenberg and wade phillips, then watch the cowboys pregame show on cbs 11 with laufenberg, gina miller, steve dennis and randy white.

Then jump around the network pregame stuff....

Enjoy the eagles and packers and Commanders dolphins and jump around the league a little...

then off to the stadium.......Cant wait to hear and feel the energy of the place sunday night. It is going to be awesome.

I'll be sitting her with my DVR on record, my dvd recorder on record, my TV facing me with the local radio on, typing play by play, and screaming at my girls to stay out of the room.

Probably munching on some popcorn, and sippin on some type of punch. Before that, i'll wake up as early as I can to watch all the pre-game shows, and watch a few games coming on the local network.

After the game, i'll get off the computer and re-watch the entire game. Then later on that night, i'll listen to all the local TV sports reports on the Cowboys, and before the night is over, i'll go back and re-watch slowly some of the things I'd like to post on.

Agree whole-heartedly, no disrespect to the OP intended, but I can't think of a single singer, heck a single performer, who would usurp the Cowboys in the fall.

Got about 12 people from church coming over. Day starts at noon. Gonna have some popcorn chicken, mozzarella sticks, chips all that stuff, maybe some chili.

2 TVs, a 61" and a 42" One for a main game, the smaller one for all the other games on at the time.

Then in the gap between the late games and the boys game, I'll send someone out for some little caesar's just in time for kickoff.

Should be fun.

KFC is the worst "chicken" there is. Popeyes is where it's at.

hello da fan..what's happening?

i'll be drinking heavily i'm sure...nice to see the boys with an opener at home for a change.

i'm more than a little worried about t- new.....but i think the rest of the defense realizes his situation and will do their thing.

i made this yesterday and everyone should try it.......it's supergood!!

lane's cream of meat with rice

2 lbs. ground round

1 diced onion

i can cream of mushroom soup

1 can cream of celery soup

kraft velveeta shreds

2 cups minute rice

salt and pepper

tony's creole seasoning

brown ground round, salt, pepper, onions and creole seasoning in a skillet..

drain fat..

stir in both soups with the beef mixture and as much water as needed to get a nice creamy texture..

add as much of the cheese you prefer and stir really good.

prepare the minute rice.

pour this meat concoction over rice and serve with your fave vegetable on the side and look out!!

i would recommend steamed broccoli, green beans or spinach.

this was so good and easy.

I'll spend it watching the games all day with a bunch of my buddies at a local watering hole. I've just got to make sure I'm not ****faced by the time we take the field Sunday night. One thing is for sure. I won't be riding my bike to the bar that day. Wouldn't be a smart move.
