The chat would FLIP OUT if anybody used the color reserved for Dale's updates.

I remember his color was red. Posters would choose their color as red and not understand why everyone asked them to change it. Great times!

Ah I remember thecowboys.net quite well. I can't believe how long I have been apart of these boards. It has to be at-least 8-9 years at this point. However I still have not got into the habit of posting very often.

I still remember the Julius Jones/Steven Jackson draft when Dale was interning for the Cowboys. The chat would FLIP OUT if anybody used the color reserved for Dale's updates.

What's so funny is that you'll see people, like you VT, who rarely post on the forums, live in the chat room during the draft. I wish some of that great insight was shared through out the year.

You got banned at DCC for dissing Taylor Hicks didn't you? Great Guideline. That wasn't in his post on the old site about how to effectively Moderate. I've seen several instances where his not so veiled advice to us didn't get followed when they had their own site to govern as they saw fit.

I remember one big deal was that they would never stoop to asking the members for money. I don't think that was in his advice post, but it might have been. Ask Midswat about that.

Why not look up his advice on the old forum and see for yourself?
