Losing Dalton didnt effect AJ Green.

Not yet has it affected Green. Just like when Weeden came in the game Romo got hurt - he looked great. Next games were a DISASTER! I'll bet Green's production drops 80% from here on out just Like Dez.

The guy at the liquor store told me that once Dez got his fat contract, he gets a manicure every week and is real worried about breaking a nail...Well you can't blame him, those manicures ain't cheap!

Guy can't be counting off $100's with crappy nails.

Can anyone tell me what has happened to this guys hands? I mean, wasn't he one of the most sure handed receivers in the league? I don't want to hear the injury excuses either because his injuries have nothing to do with holding on to the ball. I just don't get it, has he mentally checked out or what? Thoughts?

How is any of that checking out?

If he had checked out he never would have come back from the broken bone in his foot, he could have shut it down the whole year like Julio did last year.

Come on man

Coming back from a broken foot doesn't mean he hasn't checked out mentally. He hasn't played worth a crap since he came back he didn't even look that good in the opener. He gets shutdown practically every week regardless who's covering him and all he's been doing is dropping passes and yapping. Never have I seen a receiver smack talking with an opposing player during an active play after their QB had just thrown an int they weren't even aware of but he got caught doing that vs Carolina. What an IDIOT! All Garrett does is coddle him excusing every stupid thing he does as passion. As soon as he got paid he started strutting around smack talking throwing punches at a teammate during camp. He started trouble with the Rams at a joint practice this past summer.

NFLN showed him smack talking with opposing players while the rest of the team was running plays. Jeff Fisher (not Garrett) had to approach Dez when he started getting into it with one of his players. The Rams player was walking away and Dez kept coming after him trying to start a fight. I posted on the board I didn't like what I was seeing from Dez and that it wouldn't surprise me if it led to a down year for him....BINGO! He allows opposing corners to get into his head causing him to lose his focus. Josh Norman shut him down then disrespected him saying the Cowboys should get their money back. Dez has taken a fall from from grace this season with receivers like Odell Beckham clearly moving ahead of him.

We're seeing why Jerry was so apprehensive to pay him. Once he got paid he proceeds to have his worst season and his foot injury is no excuse for the drops he's had. Dez needs a coach who'll get in his face and stop telling him and everyone how great he is all the time. This team is a mess and it all starts with the guy who writes the checks and the one who coaches the team.

He is a mental midget. He is pouting in his own head after every play. But in his small defense, I would be bummed also. They all but ignore him in the game plan. 6 targets is a joke. It should be 20 targets a game. That being said he probably is shocked when the ball is thrown his way. Unless you run a 3 yard route in Garretts offense your past the depth of getting a pass. He needs to remember to stay within 3 yards of the line of scrimmage and he will get more balls.

The problem with Dez is not in his hands, it's in his head. Something isn't right there. I can't put my finger on it but he isn't right and it's not physical.

Its the lack of something inside the head. Sideline cry baby sessions. Walk off the field. Blow up at reporters. Blow up at QB's and coaches. Fights at camp with own team mates. Dude is special in more ways than one.

I am not too worried about Dez, the talent is there, just needs to get his mind right. It looks like he isn't having any fun playing football at the moment and that is not normal for him :(

Dez jumped for a ball yesterday that he didn't need to jump for and ended up dropping it. When he went over to the sidelines they showed Twill talking to him. Twill probably told him "Dez you didn't need to jump for that ball and snatch it you just needed to cradle it into your body."

When he was standing on the field arguing with a cornerback while the other team was intercepting a pass and scoring a touchdown, he should have been benched immediately, IMO. I don't see how Garrett could let that slide.

He is just frustrated like everyone else. He is working on his 3rd QB and is trying to hit a Grand Slam with every catch. Other teams are doing a good job of keeping him out of sync. He is trying so hard to get open that when the ball does come his way he is trying to score before he actually catches it.

I will write it off to a lost year. People forget that he does this every so often and everyone calls him overrated. Then he goes off and scores like 6 TDs in 3 games and reminds us all why we love him.

I like Dez. But he is one of the main reasons we haven't won. the way a team wins with back ups is all other players step up. Dez has stepped down. You can't have your two best offensive players struggle and win in this league. Our best is out and Dez might as well be out. You can blame the scheme coaches or whatever you want. Football is still about players executing. And ours aren't and that is in the players.

Really? Dez is a main reason we are losing games? Thanks for posting. That may be the funniest post of the day.

Losing Dalton didnt effect AJ Green.
They have also had a backup QB that has been there for more then 4 months in total. Not to mention a real WR coach, a real HC, and a great OC. Ill tell you right now, knowing how Dez thinks, when he sees Garrett running that same jumbo package gettin stuffed week in week out at the goal line, hes most likely sitting there saying, "wow, this coach doesnt have a clue." IF we are seeing it, i guarantee you the rest of the team is.

But did he confirm if Dez uses the "Aikman... Toughdown.... Unbelievable!" ring tone or no?
