What happened to Dez Bryant's hands?

Dez jumped for a ball yesterday that he didn't need to jump for and ended up dropping it. When he went over to the sidelines they showed Twill talking to him. Twill probably told him "Dez you didn't need to jump for that ball and snatch it you just needed to cradle it into your body."

Dez got paid; Thats what Dez wanted. Now he has got a monkey.

Ohh poor Dez. Leave Dez alone!!!

For someone who throws a hissy fit when he doesnt get the ball, he sure drops it alot when he does get it.

For me, he has used all of his "hissy fit" credit. Card has been maxed out!!!!

yeah, money changes everything, he is just going thru the motions now .
He should be better next year, but you never know.
I think butler would have helped more than dez has.

This season dez has been no help and less than ordinary. and he cost team 13 milliion !
he has made 2 above avg catches, the long one for td where he was only one to jump up and he came down awkwardly and hurt his knee.
and 2nd, the one he caught in GB game (2015) that was ruled not a catch.
I thought that was a good effort as the defender was actually interfering, and had his arm between dez's arms.
I also thought it was a catch, but dez stupidly moved it at the end so the ref would see that as not in control.
But to me this was ruled a catch on the field, so it should have stood, but for 2nd time
they overrule and change the call.

I would really like to see us go back to throwing Bryant some quick bubble screens and those quick passes we used to throw him to get him going. He is the kind of guy, like a runningback who gets better as he gets more touches and as the game goes on. He is not going to beat anyone with speed r quickness. He needs to be able to wear down the coverage.

Once again, however, I don't trust our coaches to do anything that resembles adjusting or putting players in their best positions. Dez is a run after the catch guy. Let him do it.

So was TO and we didn't let him do it either.

Garrett will not adjust to his players. He puts his horrid scheme above his talent.

I watched him run his routes with no gusto. No head fakes no shoulder shrugs no max effort. HE is 100% to blame for his embarrassing performance. He even dropped the X and left us with plain ole Throw Up.

Can anyone tell me what has happened to this guys hands? I mean, wasn't he one of the most sure handed receivers in the league? I don't want to hear the injury excuses either because his injuries have nothing to do with holding on to the ball. I just don't get it, has he mentally checked out or what? Thoughts?

it was bad last night for sure

I dont know how some of you can jump week to week on who you hate on the Dallas Cowboys. From Hardy, Lawerence, Crawford, now Dez? Does anyone remember the Philly game? I will blame the inconsistency at QB before i take to making our best active offensive player out to be a scapegoat.

Who's hating on Dez? The guy has been dropping balls left and right. Do you remember the TB game where he pretty much blew that game with his drops?

Their both full of Money now so they don't have room to catch anything :)

I think the problem is his lack of intelligence, and his wonderlic score of 16 proves the point.

He's really fighting the ball. Yesterday, he not only jumped on that sideline route but didn't appear sure which way to turn his hands. He strikes me as a guy that needs constantly coached and reminded on fundamentals. Not a knock, alot of players are the same way, but in addition to him losing confidence and fighting himself a bit, he probably isn't getting a whole lot from Dooley either.

Dooley should be putting his house on the market.

He got paid. That was his goal. He will coast the rest of his contract. You can make the excuses of backup QBs, missing training camp, injuries, etc. But I don't buy it. It's happened to tons of athletes. They get paid and then coast and become content.

I like Dez. But he is one of the main reasons we haven't won. the way a team wins with back ups is all other players step up. Dez has stepped down. You can't have your two best offensive players struggle and win in this league. Our best is out and Dez might as well be out. You can blame the scheme coaches or whatever you want. Football is still about players executing. And ours aren't and that is in the players.

Agree on the step-down.

His lack of separation is surprising, but that could be overcome with great rapport with the QB, like Witten has, with throws having anticipation and tight windows.

Romo covered up or neutralized many deficiencies.

This is just a wasted year for Dez. He wasn't in shape after holding out the entire offseason looking for his deal. Then he gets hurt in the opener and comes back (in many people's opinion) too soon.

He finally looked like Dez in that Sunday night loss to Philly; but tweaks his knee and ankle on an amazing touchdown catch.

And now, like others have said, the losing season is playing games with his psyche. He's dropping balls left and right and seems to have caught nothing but a case of "I don't give a crap".

Its the lack of something inside the head. Sideline cry baby sessions. Walk off the field. Blow up at reporters. Blow up at QB's and coaches. Fights at camp with own team mates. Dude is special in more ways than one.

Needs medication. He should call me.

16 isn't very low for NFL WRs. I'm guessing is it is pretty close to the average.

It's just one of those season's. He and his QB went down, bout the time they came back, it was all but over. He may have checked out this year, IMO. I also think the money may have given him a reason to act up a bit. Next year is the year to see what happens. Maybe he wants to tank for a great player as well, who knows.

Overcompensating simple as that. The Dez haters will say he got paid and he doesn't care, but imo he's trying to do too much and he looks horrible out there.
