What happened to Jordy Nelson?

Yeah, I'm an imbecile. Let's say you beat Green Bay with no Aaron Rodgers, then Seattle with no Wilson, and get carved up by the Patriots. Would that make you feel better?
We could get carved up by the Patriots regardless if we beat either. So what?

Nelson is just getting back to where he was before previous injuries...cheap shots. The three teams that I detest for hits, are the Giants, Steelers, and Seahawks.

yep.....year after year after YEAR. They play like it's still the 70's and get away with it. Pisses me right off.

Word is that even with the big numbers this season, Nelson is still not his old self, and that he, along with the rest of the Packers receivers, are a subpar group that have been elevated by Rodgers.

So losing Jordy by itself isn't huge. but since they don't have an adequate replacement for him, it's a problem.

Wait!! So you mean to tell me that a QB can be so good that he makes his WR's look better? But I thought crappy WR's made even the great QB's look crappy?

Man, and here I thought The Great Carson Wentz played so average this year because his WR's are crappy.

This is Alchemy!

Yeah, but nobody cares what you think anymore Risen. Seriously, that ship has done sailed. The USS Wentz is taking on water and has been sent to dry dock. Your only recourse is to throw all your rotten eggs in one basket and hope that Dak bails you out by having a poor game. Then you can step back, pound your bony chest and say I told you so. The problem is we still won't care anymore.

Seriously, there is no need to respond to Risen. He is the worst kind of troll. A non-fan who is just waiting for the team to fail so he can say "I told you so." Risen, you'd be perfect on the Eagles forum.

You're right, Beast. He did, gah, don't know how that escaped my mind :)

But like you said, that's a whole bunch of wreckage.
IIRC, Romo had a punctured lung, but it did not collapse. There's a difference. Any way about it, I don't see him playing.

If anyone has broken a rib before, you'd know that there's essentially no way he's playing next week.

Breathing hard? Feels like knives in your side.

Twisting your torso? Kidney stones feel better.

Not to mention that additional damage can cause even worse complications.

Nelson is a tough SOB, watch him act like his ACL tear was nothing, but he ain't playing through this.
And make sure you don't sneeze....

I hate to sound like an arse, but good. Rodgers was crap without Jordy (and a running game, that Mont has now brought them -- hopefully he's banged up to). He was regressing at an alarming rate. Then Jordy got healthy, then Montgomery started running effectively, and bam-o, dude is chucking again. Granted, Adams has emerged this year, but he's not enough. Hoping Nelson is out, and Mont is hampered.

Sorry, football Gods. Ten Hail Marys and one Lord's Prayer :)

My source is mad dog sports radio sports update

It's all speculation but McCarthy himself said he's worried

Next week would be a good time for Irving to have a career-defining game.

Agreed. Never broken one but I've had bruised ribs and that's a pain in the *** to deal with.

So what's the reason to be scared of Green Bay? You can ball up in your little corner and be scared, I'll be front and center to watch us take down the great Aaron Rodgers, AGAIN.

Dak needs to take advantage of his legs to the greatest extent possible in this game. If GB sells out to try to stop the run we need to have bootlegs and rollouts all night long.
No, we simply do what he did to Detroit. Go vertical.

Sounds like we get 180 minutes of Cowboys postseason football to me, which is way better than getting only 60 minutes of Cowboys postseason football.
