Actually his 8.4 that you quote is 17th not 10th. next gen stats can be a pain i know. I wouldn't call 10th a checkdown charlie but 17th is getting close to that. Want to know a stat that Dak was top 10 in? TT (which is short for "time to throw" ) He was 8th best in the league in time given to throw. Bye the way in 2016 he was 22nd in air yards

Yeah, I put of starters. He's 10th of starters. They should have given a minimum threashold to qualify because I guess backups love to sling it when they are put in.

The only 2 guys to pull out of that list would be Stanton and Gabbert and each of them did have 150+ passing attemps last season.

You think Fitzpatrick and Savage are starters? If that's the case we can take out Winston and Watson then.

Didnt realize Kizer started 15 games for the Browns last season. Wow.

Have to admit; this is very true. Also the growing amount of baling the coaches. Some did it before, but it has ramped up radically the last year or so.

I understand well your points and many here have made them. Like others, you wish to use 2016 to support your beliefs and I also understand that because of two important facts...Defenses didn't know Dak in his first year and Zeke was his security blanket. I study the "all 32" films all year long and I also follow Okoyo study on youtube study he does. It's really okay though because I hope Dak does well and improves this year. He certainly needs to this camp and preseason if he wants that big contract extension.

Fitz was a starter for years in this leauge (go back and check 2016 he was well ahead of Dak) so it is fair to include him because he was far ahead of Dak in 2016 and Savage was the starter for the Texans game 1 last season got replaced then came back after Deshaun got hurt. he started 7 games last season enough to get a fair evaluation. he had 240 pass attempts and was a good yard and a half better than Dak. And yes Kizer was the starter last season. But Stanton and Gabbert were nothing but backups

To be fair he didnt have much from Dez last year either. But I still get what you're trying to say. What happens is Dak will have tight windows to throw through. Lots of deflections which will likely cause interceptions.

Now I dont think there will be a serious issue with WRs separating. Beasley has some serious quicks he can separate on short routes. Hurns is proven. Thompson is a serious burner (in a straight line). Twill sucks even with separation his chest will cause many drops. And from the TE position I don't think these guys can possibly be worse than Witten was on the field the past two years. He will be missed on the leadership department and yes I named my kid after Witten. But let's be real Witten hasn't been good the past couple years. He has been avg. So I really dont think we will see a drop off at TE.
Will we see a drop off at WR? I'm sure we will a bit. Dez is clearly better than what we got but he wasn't all that good anymore. So I wouldn't fret at no longer having Dez

There was literally one line regarding 2016, so pretty poor overall response.

    Ill look into Okoyo.

So I did go back and look at the perspectives given on Dak back in 2016. SECcountry and PFF both had ranked him in the same lot as Tebow and Kaepernick and a rung below RG3. I think Dak is better than Tebow or Kaepernick but, he looks very similar to RG3 in my evaluation. Just one man's opinion. Your stated sources had different views but, still ranked him at 3rd or 4th round of the draft that year.

I agree with this, but none said he was a check down Charlie, correct?

We will have a top 10 pick for sure in the next draft.

Like you, I really hope he turns out to be superior to Romo in every way. He's certainly much more elusive if given some space and time.
He's built like a tank but, he has to be careful cause he took a lot of punishment last year. If he doesn't improve, we are going to struggle to score points unless Zeke embraces his "beast" mode every game.

he has no pocket awareness, that is one of his major issues and a slow reader of defenses.

Fitzpatrick is a better passer than Dak, and it's not really close.

"If" this is the case then Dak will lead the NFL in tight coverage throws for the second consecutive season

Don't quote me with this nonsense. And read the conversation before interjecting with stuff as silly as that. It doesnt even relate to the conversation.

I wouldnt talk about Dak anymore if I were you. You were already outed for your QB takes. It just makes them look worse.
