They aren't. But thanks for missing the entire point.
A superintendent that I worked for told me once, Coach, you can't save them all...I told him, maybe, but that doesn't mean I can't try. Some of these fans are to far gone....not worth saving....use them as chum in the water and hope some will see the light.
We're supposed to want our team to win....I don't get it.

Ben had some really good players that worked great in his scheme. It can go both ways. A top talent WR can make an average QB great, or does a great QB make average WR's be great as well.
Even a great QB can only play well as his OL. See Mahomes losing a SB, as that may have been a big part of that.
Johnson turned Jared Goff into a star. Period. Goff was terrible before he went to Detroit. Johnson created an offense that played to his players strengths. Something we haven’t seen in Dallas in years.

This is true........but Ben Johnson had a team stacked with talent. Similar to Kellen Moore failure with the Chargers but looks a HOF coach on a stacked Eagles team. It's going be interesting to see where they both are 3 years from now.......
Moore had Ekeler Herbert and Allen. He had a good core player group. He just sucks.

Stafford was not playing much better until he went to the Rams. The trade was great for both teams. So was it all really on Johnson?
Just more fans trying to tear down one decision by building up another. We will see what he can do with Williams. The sad thing is, we already know what we have here. So can we truly compare in a few years.
What would be more of a miracle. QB development in Chicago or in Dallas. We already know what most fans answers will be. And the track record here, can't disagree with it.

C'mon Phil........Goff has 2 potentially 1000-yard WRs AND RBs, top 10 TE and top OLine. As stated before, it's going to be interesting to see what Johnson can do with half the talent with the Bears.

This was a terrible hire. Not a single other NFL team was even texting this guy, yet Jerry looked at him and thought, "Yep, this is the guy to lead the Dallas Cowboys!" It was nothing more than a panic and comfort hire after things didn’t pan out with Big Mac. This guy isn’t going to do anything meaningful here. It’s just another wasted year (or more) of our lives as Cowboys fans. A slap in the face from a GM with a barely functioning frontal lobe.

What if Brian really is the right guy, with the help of Eberflus. Who many fans wanted to be promoted to DC and then HC.
Eberflus can bring a toughness to the defense. As he did in Indy and Chicago. That can help the offense and they need it.

All fans wanted a younger HC, that could relate to the players better. Be somewhat innovative. Not saying that Schotty is that person.
But he is not a retread coach that many did not want anyway (but yet they complain Jerry did not go after any of them). Yes other candidates were out there. This seemed rushed all of a sudden after what seemed like Jerry was dragging his feet about it all.

But who are we fans to say who would be better, though we think we know. Moore? What qualifies Ben Johnson over anyone else, other than he actually has called plays with success for Detroit. But HC material, none of us knows. Carroll, Zimmer, Chucky?

I am not a big fan of this move. I did not like the way the FO went about this. We known their failures for years now. We will see how serious they are come FA to see if they are willing to actually improve the roster. Or is all of this for nothing, again.

I know what the answers and posts will be. Same old stuff that has been repeated 100 times in every thread.

So fellow Zoner's, here is a challenge. Think outside of that box in your head, and think ... what if he can be innovative and was held back by MM ...
I hope he is

It would not have. There were a lot of fans railing against Quinn after that Green Bay loss.

I thought then as I do now, that the anger was misplaced.
Sadly there is nothing that can change this mess. Jerry is full on Al Davis. He gave us fans the bird.

Jerry is known for thinking outside of the box and reinventing the wheel, and it NEVER EVER works out.
