exactly.
and i think they need to find out what dak can do by himself without zeke
i actually prefer if zeke holds out.
just get a decent proven rb by trade now!
if dak does great without zeke, zeke's leverage has gone to essentially zero.
if dak does badly, then dak has just gotten cheaper assuming we even want him back.
may as well give dak's audition

What's up with that running back Jay Ajayi? I believe he is a Boise State product.

I'm sure players would give everything they've got for your franchise.

Seriously, that's the kind of stuff that gets sergeants killed by their troops. :muttley:

but this is a business and it is based on leverage.
they hold a full house and zeke has a pair of 2's.

Seems to me, that second part of your post would cause more damage than serve well for the future. Something like that would cause other agents to shy away from negotiating with us. Who wants to deal with someone who's gonna do that when they're trying to get a good deal for their player?

I do agree with the first part of what you say, though.

You would be correct. The second half of his posts forgets that there are 31 other teams in the NFL

GOOD TRY put the rams game on Zeke how about he other 2 playoff games?

so the rams game the entire team played bad both sides coaching etc

but does your narrative support 137 yards and a td 5.3 avg against seatle? I guess thats not taking over?

Greenbay game, 22 for 125 5.7 avg

so 2 of the 3 games he played well, he didnt decline from his Regular season stats and some cases exceeded.. everyone points to the rams game.. who played well that day? the rams whooped up on both sides plus coaching yet thats the one you point out..i saw the Oline, TEs, and FB being pushed back into the backfield nearly every snap , they said we will stop Zeke they sold out into do so and the passing game didnt help out much..bad game for ALL..

hes had only 3 chances.. played very well in 2 of 3..

So back to reality, in your narrative Tank and Jaylon smith stole money and shouldnt be here , replace them with younger talent, why lets see they got ran the f over by the rams 2 Rbs all day so the Defense was horrible..replace them all...

good try nitpicking his only bad game where the other 2 he ran for well over his seasons AVG..good one troll that rams game should never be used in argument to keep a player or coach or not. if it were the entire team and coaching staff should be gone.. Jerry would sell the team and move on..

tank plays a more valued position than zeke.
the bottom line is that it is about time they test out dak without zeke and the 1st 3 games are perfect for that.
i think his point is that zeke's value added is limited when the team needs to go to a pass to set up the rush offense unlike the garrett run first to set up the pass offense.

Good try? They don't count because the competition goes higher !!! Then Zeke has the nerve to get drunk and bully a poor kid bouncer !!!! If. I was the kid I would ask for more. You see how Zeke is doing the Cowboys. He is trying to lick the bone clean then eat it!

having 31 teams is relevant to the conversation.
cowboys are not a big fa team whether we like it or not.

i think they are afraid to piss zeke off.
they need to change their style from accommodation to confrontation.

Exactly !!! I would simply ignore Zeke. And make the following statement.

We only negotiate with players who are currently in camp.

oh i never said dlaw was 'in the right'
it is that he had leverage but zeke has none.
it is a business, right?
cowboys have almost all the leverage, so they should use it just like dlaw did.
or what are you crying about?

no, it is not just precedent in terms of contract value.
it is also precedent in terms of creating a new reputation for the front office

it's all precedent regardless of the topic, all eyes are on how they handle what they give and any other details

i would go much further than that.

we gave the last offer.
that offer is null and void on sept 1 2019.
we expect him to fulfill his contract if he does not agree to the generous contract also offered.
we will not trade zeke
we have his rights for the next 2 years, and we will likely utilize the franchise tag after that to maximize the benefit to the cowboys organization.

Dak played a solid game.
he did NOTHING TO GO WIN IT..stop making excuses , solid dont cut it

we are talking elevate the game, he should have had a good game, they sold out to stop Zeke and LET him dink and dunk move it but dont score a lot.. get some true insight on what happened... Our D sucked, our oline got manhandled, they sold out the were in the backfield all day to stop zeke. so what dak got some holllow yards and helped keep us in the game, sure but he did NOT lead us to victory.. I mean if the 32-16 keeps getting assigned to him as his glory when we all know W&Ls is team and coach Stat, then he LOST the rams game.. lmao you cant have it both ways.. Teams dare us to throw and when needed just gameplan and sell out on Zeke, Dare Dak to actually just show out and take it, he did nOT..
