Trade Dak for draft picks. Pick a quarterback and see how he does. If Dallas has a bad record (tank), pick Caleb Williams in 2024 draft.

Prescott finished 23-of-37 in the loss, throwing for 206 yards, a touchdown and a pair of backbreaking interceptions.

The Cowboys failed to get much of anything going on offense against the league's best defense, getting next to nothing out of the run game and no real consistency from their playmakers outside of CeeDee Lamb.

49ers DB's were sitting on a lot of Dallas' routes and at some points running them for the Cowboys, especially after running back Tony Pollard went down with a leg injury.

Sunday's defeat made for another disappointing playoff loss for Dak Prescott and Co. which has seemingly been a theme of the last quarter-century of Cowboys football.

Dak led the league in interceptions this year with 15 based on 12 games played.

I wouldn't go for a Carr or Rodgers.. They aren't a big enough upgrade on Dak (at this point in their careers) to justify the contract. And it just means we are spending way too much on one position.

I think you go to the draft and commit to taking a QB in Round 1 and in Round 3 and in a late round. Do that again next year too (possibly instead of first and third you take a second and fourth).

Essentially go and get 4-5 guys and really invest in finding the long term solution.

Hopefully they develop in 1-3 years (like a lot of the modern young guns have) and you get another shot with Parsons and Co.
sorry, but no team does that

give Rush a chance at the competing in training camp next year at the very least.

We need a timeline of implementation. I love the guy- it's just not going to happen for him in Dallas. So let's move swiftly.

What are we facing?

Q2:

**Would anyone be supportive of sending a #1 to SF for Trey Lance if the 49ers win the SB?**

Dak Prescott, no longer possesses, the arm strength, to make outside throws. Kellen Moore should have recognized this and changed the plays . I don’t think Prescott can throw the ball more than 45 yards 40 accurate tops. Hail Mary not possible.
You must have missed the 3rd and 30 pass to Hilton that went 63 yards in the air. Dak still has arm strength but can’t read defenses and makes poor decisions.

I along with a lot of individuals don't want him as QB but to suggest planting drugs and things of that sort is taking this to another level. He's a real human being and his job is not his life. Remember that ladies and gentlemen, these evil plans we have is pushing this further than football, just a GD sport. Joking or not. Let's all Calm down.

Just cut him and deal with the dead money for a couple years like we did when we cut Romo, sign a decent vet and draft the best available QB in the draft.

I honestly think our most realistic path is for him to miss extended time and a young draft pick steps in and plays well. Like he did with Romo.
Like Rush??? How did that work out? The woke media will never allow another QB to replace their boy.

Cryo sleep for 2 years. That’s the only way you won’t witness #4 under center through 2024….

Find that a team that would take him. Then go to Dak and make it clear that he doesn't agree to the trade, Dallas will draft QB1 and Dak will play backup. That's what I would do... I'd rather be actively looking for the answer than just muddling through for a few years. Jerry will never do this.
Not disagreeing with you at all but, JJ is getting OLD and like the Devil, he "knows his time is short."

Not like Rush, who is a journeyman that no other team wants. A young guy with a future and some hype behind him.

I would draft Tanner McKee in the second round. I would love to see what McCarthy could do with him. Guy can play and really throw it but was on a terrible Stanford team the last couple years. That guy might be available and actually worth a pick.

Him or the TCU QB in round 3. I think they could become a good option when Dak's contract is up.
