Do you really think I'm just looking at 1 game? I'm looking at a season and where it is headed. I'm looking at the same signs we see every year where Jerry can't get out of the way. As I said, I'll be happy to be wrong, but when the owner comes out publicly for a particular player to get the ball more, especially when your team ISN'T 0-6 like Tennessee was, that owner is the guy who is an idiot. (only in the football sense). He could easily mention that to Garrett in private, but instead goes public. Jerry Jones isn't happy unless he is at the center of every picture he exists in.

Sorry, guys, and I'm sure many will vent their spleen here, but I've watched enough of it to be convinced.

We will all continue to cheer for our team, hope for the best, etc., but what is wrong with this team will not get fixed for a long time.

What is wrong is Jerry Jones, and he isn't going anywhere.

The play that captured it for me was the controversy over Campbell stepping out of bounds before the throw. The camera zooms in on the official, he has come over to the sideline to explain what is going on to the coaches.

There is Wade, there is Campo, and there is some other assistant that I don't recognize. All 3 standing in front of the official. Who is the official giving the explanation to and getting an earful from? The assistant standing behind Phillips.

This team has no real head coach. This team has no real leadership from its coaching staff.

You have Jerry taking a page from Bud Adams and Commander boy telling his offensive coordinator who needs to get the ball more. Felix.

Until Jerry Jones steps aside the Cowboys are what the Cowboys will be.

A similar feeling was had about the Cardinals last year, and then they end up in the Bowl. We just have to be playing our best football in December. I'll take a W anyway we can pre-December.

Does Jerry make mistakes?I think the answer is yes.Is Jerry at the root of all that plaugues this team?No.

Wade is ultimately resposible for this team and even at 8-3 I don't think he's the man for the job.Why?I just don't think Wade is one that preaches attention to detail.I just believe that lack of attention results in things like stupid penalties and allowing 3rd and forever conversions.Is it all Wade's fault?Absolutely not,but he is part of the problem.In Wade's defense this team was stupid even when Parcells was here.

Garrett,there has been so much banter about Garrett that I don't know where to start.I really don't have a gripe with Garrett or his playcalling for the most part.It's hard to have a consistent offense when you have penalties,turnovers or a player taking a snap off.Garrett still intrigues me as a coach because some of his schemes are brilliant,while some others are bafflling.After today it seems this teams needs to pass and establish some tempo before trying to establish a power running game though.
