When did it really all start to go sour?

Oh, I agree Quinn is the ultimate player's coach ( cap backward and all ). But for some odd reason, he did not have the D ready for GB and the league took notice. Remember after the 2022 season he pretty much as 2-3 offers but decided to return for the 2023 season. After the GB his only offer was from the Commanders and he was their 3rd choice. There's a nugget out there that Jerry put in a word for him......

He's a good coach for a min but things tend to go sour after 3-4 years.

He did not have the horses. Leighton injured and no suitable depth in the linebacker room. Both starting cornerbacks hurt. Depending too much on an aging Hankins.

2022 season when they had mostly a healthy defense in the playoffs, they looked very good. Gave up only 13 points to SF in the road loss (when they had been averaging 35+ points with Purdy), not counting the 6 points gifted by Dak.

He’s very good with the modern defense as long as he has good players healthy. Like pretty much every coach.

That stench of sulphur is a combination of some of our fanbase that continue to make excuses for our star players coupled with Jerry Jones' presence.

Why does everyone crap on Parsons so much? Are you all still so upset about his podcast? Newsflash - all players have hobbies outside of football. Every single one. Because he said something that could be construed as disparaging against the coach? So what? Pretty much everyone on this site has said things much worse. He's the best player on the defense. He clearly loves football. You can tell he wants to play, he wants to win. It's discouraging to put your all into something, then going out there and knowing regardless of how well you play, you will lose the game.
Because he does a whole lot of talking, and can't back it up. Promises alot, delivers little. I don't mind the talking as long as he puts his money where his mouth is. To be clear, it's not just him. If you gonna talk the talk, you better walk the walk. He created the drama. I don't feel bad for him. Time to deliver.

All that's left for the world to witness with Jerry is a bitter prideful guy. Nothing left to mask it anymore. We accepted it because we were somewhat relevant. Now we are exposed.

Jimmy never stayed anywhere for too long. That team really was the perfect storm situation because Jimmy didn't do anything in Miami. He was a very important piece to that team but even Switzer was able to stumble around and luckily win a SB. Sure it was the team that Jimmy built and Jimmy deserves a lot of credit for it but he's not the sole reason for that team.
Jimmy won the national championship in Miami. I will not let you Jimmy haters keep omitting that fact.

Jimmy wasn't going to leave until Jerry picked a fight with him. He was talking with Deion and other free agents for potential signings for 1994 before the Jerry incident.

And Jimmy is the sole reason for that team. It was in his contract that he was GM and HC. Jerry just signed checks, which is the only football "skill" that Jerry has.

Supposedly all we lost last FA was some “jags”. Turns out we lost the core of team because we’re not the same team now.

Probably the 1995 Shante Carver trade. That was a sign that reinforcements for the dynasty wouldn't be coming under new GM Jerry... the core was just going to decay.

After Green Bay

You tear a team like that down…3 straight playoff appearances with 1 win and you get blown out no nfc title appearances?

You’ve seen the ceiling…you fire the coaches, you let the qb go and trade who you can (except parsons) and you rebuild

That’s how you do it there was no where to go but down

My personal opinion
Even though I wanted to draft the individual
Micah Parsons .
. Like him, dislike him, on the edge about him.
This is when the team started to go backwards. We’ve started to play like individuals and not a team. And individuals don’t win.
, Trade him or keep him
The GB game as the team had enough of supporting and carrying the highest-paid player on the team.
The Extension was the NAIL in the locker room Coffin..............one look at CD tells it all.......!!!!
How human nature works.............."Well he gets the Big Bucks let him carry us to wins".....I mean it's only fair????
