When did it really all start to go sour?

  Romo was healthy after missing most of 2015 on IR and 2014 was the best year of his career. There was no need to draft ( if that's what you mean ) a QB high, although they did consider it.
2016 is when they dumped the vet Romo when he got healthy to go with the 4th round 3rd stringer because the team was “hot”. Thanks Zeke!

Therefore sealing the teams fate and committing to not taking the QB position seriously.

The root of the problem and when all this started to go south has to be when Jerry thought he could do what Jimmy did in building a championship team. He didn’t learn anything from Jimmy in acquiring talent to fit your team identity. He also didn’t have the knowledge on what he was looking for. And neither does his accomplice and partner in crime.

It is Ground hog day at the Star, the players and coaches change, but the results and failures remain the same. Thank you, Jerry.

because he is not focused on football. because he is selfish. because he is a me first player. because he pads his stats against lesser teams and disappears when it matters. look at his performance in the playoffs, now go spin a few excuses on why he sucked in those games.
How is he not focused on football? Does this go back to having interests that don't involve football? Please. How would you feel if you were fired from your job because you go home at the end of the day and do something that isn't work related.

Me first? Didn't he just make a comment about wanting to play hard for the guys like Martin who were at the end of a HoF career and deserved a championship?

Pads his stats (aka plays well) against lesser teams and disappears when it matters. This I don't disagree with. I put this partially on the coaching staff playing him at DE as "when it matters" is usually later in the season. I attribute it to getting run down over the course of the season. He's too small to be a full-time DE. He needs to play more at LB and use him as a blitzer to get after the QB. He clearly has the speed to play sideline-to-sideline so that would likely help the run defense as well.

The GB game as the team had enough of supporting and carrying the highest-paid player on the team.
The Extension was the NAIL in the locker room Coffin..............one look at CD tells it all.......!!!!
How human nature works.............."Well he gets the Big Bucks let him carry us to wins".....I mean it's only fair????
Can you stop it with this Prescott baloney. CD looked way worse with Cooper rush out there. But that’s not the conversation you can’t help it.

The low point we’ve reached began with the Green Bay debacle in the playoffs. Prior to that game we won 16 straight at home. It was obvious the team still wasn’t good enough and while the Cowboys started losing player after player to free agency and one player to retirement, the Joneses chose to sit on their hands and do nothing. They decided to bank on some young players that didn’t play well last season and whatever they came up with in the draft this past April. Our most valuable defensive player from last year hasn’t played a down this season and we lost Sam Williams prior to the season. You could practically field a team with all the players we lost from last year and it’s led to a complete disaster.

Where's he been? Did he tuck and run? Typical drunk behavior.
He’s very likely been benched and it could be permanent. He hasn’t posted since October 8. He should have moved on from the trouble makers instead of fighting it out with them. There’s many I no longer waste my time with because it could jeopardize your account. Some just come here to troll and antagonize other members.

Or he could just be sick or something, hope he is alright.

My personal opinion
Even though I wanted to draft the individual
Micah Parsons .
. Like him, dislike him, on the edge about him.
This is when the team started to go backwards. We’ve started to play like individuals and not a team. And individuals don’t win.
, Trade him or keep him
Who says things are going sour?

Hater

Same ridiculous response from the same in denial posters.

Yeah, Dak sucks so bad, he's on the verge of breaking all Cowboys franchise passing records.

Get a grip.
Yeah, along with breaking his body also. Passing records are for losers, winning SB's are for winners, you like passing records, I like SB's. So that tells a lot about you.

Grip that.

Every QB needs a good team around them. Even Patrick Mahomes is starting to realize that. Football 101. Learn some football.

Deflect baby, deflect Dak's suck onto Mahomes. Now compare SB's between the two and get back to me.
