Dak’s contract has nothing to do with why the Cowboys don’t have a better roster. Take a look at the rest of the league. Are the Rams committing witch craft? Or do they just have an owner who actually cares about winning? The money is there if Jerry wants to spend it, he just doesn’t care

NOPE can't excuse 5 TOS, 4 TOS 3 TOS, by each so no no they didnt..burrows i believe accounted for 5-6 TOS cant remember which qb accounted for 6 TIS but that just BAD people, making jokes about Daks one forced ball how about 3-4 for other qbs like Stafford.

Bro thats straight up unacceptable ..lets stop trying to make excuses for team issues that's my point OL, wrs, and other teammates plus bad play calling screw plays up, it effects the QB.

Rams also lost and also had 40mil qb chart his pants.,.and OL bad , no run game . whose their BUP QB guarantee they dotn have one better either,..,

BUT HE DIDNT OVERCOME THEM i missed where daks got to overcome bad play calls, lack of separation by the WRs, and 10 Penalties once again mostly from the OL means calling back positive plays and paying behind the chains. Its NOT DIFFERENT.

Dak couldn't get a win, and neither could these other big time qbs. ELITE QBS get those in the EZ before they need to kick a FG or before they get closer i mean he simply didn't make enough plays to overcome his teams' shortcomings. Wake up that the point, thats what the fans here expect of Dak.

When his teammates and coaching sucks. daks supposed to overcome that.

In some cases, but it’s over-exxaggerated. NBA is way more star-driven than others leagues and even here it’s really about the market. LA lakers and Knicks were BY FAR the largest revenue generators for the NBA even when they sucked, while Lebron was in Cleveland. Their TV money deals were incomparable, it wasn’t even close. With TV revenue sharing, a lot of these small market teams, even with prime stars, would fold.

With the defense they now have what they need is a good bus driver qb.

But they are stuck with dak unless they want to sit him on bench and use a bus driver, but jones boys would never do that.

until daks contract is up your stuck with him.

I'm not a Dak fan. I was not for paying him. But the Cowboys lack of success is not because they paid Dak. That's a deflection. It's because our front office SOP does not allow for a championship. It's that simple. You can blame the QB all you want, but when the off season SOP is amateurish, how can you blame the QB?

The article is garbage. Don't blame Jerry for paying Dak, blame him for paying him and not supporting him. Besides the Cooper trade, they've done zero to put talent around Dak besides the draft for Dak's entire career in Dallas. So you have to be mentally challenged to think Dak is going to do something the Cowboys front office isn't willing to do. There's no QB in this league that can win a championship without the support of their front office. Dak is no exception.
