How can Dak be overrated when everyone says he sucks?

That’s not overrated…that’s…not how that works

And Witten being overrated is hilarious

And both arguments about them piling up garbage time stats ? Lol

Unless you’re down by 4 touchdowns and the game is over then it’s not garbage time….Garbage time means the game has been decided…not when you have a legitimate chance to come back and win it

Without a doubt Jason Witten.

That guy was a little above average at best. His last 3 or 4 years were terrible as he somehow slowed down.

Stats were always padded by garbage time.
Hmmm… from 2004 to 2014 he averaged 81 rec, 1015 yards receiving and over a 11 ypc! That’s a lot of garbage time from a team that barely got to the playoffs much less won anything!

There were a lot.

Aikman because fans don’t talk about his qb play after Irvin’s injury.

Both Roy Williams

Dak for what he is

The main guy for me was Byron Jones. He got so much praise being a shutdown corner but all he did was make the QB job easier by not looking over his direction immediately and go to another somewhere else because he played the receiver and didn’t want to take any chances.

Then when a QB throws to his direction, he doesn’t make any plays. It is either a harmless incompletion or a completed catch.

Roy Williams the safety he couldn’t cover for squat fans some fans loved him because he could lay the wood but I cringed every time a qb looked his direction

He did however get a rule change the old horse collar is his baby
There were several years when receivers and backs and QBs had legitimate reason to fear coming across safety Roy Williams. He made more than a few ESPN highlight plays in his prime - even if his ‘peak play’ wasn’t as enduring as we would have liked.

Receiver Roy Williams is a much better candidate.

I would like to nominate Mike Vanderjagt.

He was a huge 2006 free agent signing, a big contract kicker, one of the most accurate in history. In 2003 he made 37 of 37 field goal attempts.

From the first moment he put on a Cowboys jersey............

He was awful. He made 72% of his attempts. He was replaced later in the season, his last.

Witten was like Eddie Murray ( mlb ) a compiler. he have 16 catches against the Raiders in a 34 to 10 blowout.

He’s overrated for sure .

Eugene, the no-hitter machine, Lockhart was also overrated.

La Roi Glover overrated

Marcellus Wiley overrated

Both Roy Williams severely overrated.

Charlie Waters was a tad overrated as well.

Demarcus Ware was an overrated Cowboy and borderline compiler- he never dominated a big team in a big spot in a big playoff game until he went to the Broncos.

But the most overrated of all time was Dez Bryant and the we them boys garbage.
No way Charlie Waters was overrated. He still holds the NFL playoff record for interceptions. That's a guy who got even better in the playoffs just like Troy Aikman.

I loved 41 and 43 - however he gave up some big plays in the Super Bowl.

Romo had a team with 13 pro bowlers and a 1 seed.
Probably the worst post I have ever read on this forum...

Who votes for the pro bowl?
The 1 seed means that Romo contributed towards that success.
Romo had 13 pro bowlers every season?

The fact is over each of their tenures Prescott has had the benefit of playing in better teams and stronger supporting casts than Romo particularly on defense which is really where it matters.
