Who replaces Owens next year?

if by some stupid move dallas thinks they can match owens production with these rejects that will be in FA this yr. i wouldnt mind it being chris henry, word on si.com is that marvin lewis is seriously thinking about releasing chris henry

Chris Henry is 4 game suspension waiting to happen..

The guy smokes more "herbs" than Randy Moss ( as Randy says he still smokes once in a "Blue Moon") , Odell Thurman ( currently serving year ban and on the way out as well) , Big Q, Ricky Williams and any other srub that throws away a gift that he has... I'd rather:shootme: or try Watkins at WR that bring in that slug...

Henry would be a solid pick up for us, maybe cincy just inspires bad things to happen. It seems to be dominant on that team.

well since there are no viable options wouldnt u think its just better to keep owens? which is basically my point

Owens might be a loud, obnoxious, selfish, egotistical WR... but he should be.

Thats just who he is.. He was a WR with good height and frame and was a 4.6 combine guy.. He worked hard to get where he is at and like the "soak in the attention" Just who he is. I'd rather take a guy like that and deal with occasional drop and "attempted suicide attempt than deal with a guy who cant put his green down when he his "Chillin with tha Homies"

Id rather take my chances on T.O , because at least he will be on the field on Sunday while Chris Henry might be locked up.

So the speculation is that T. Owens won't be back next year. If true, the Cowboys will need a replacement.

I was curious, so I checked the free agent WR situation.

It is early and things can/will change, but so far it looks like a fairly lean year for FA WRs with the best of the bunch being Drew Bennett (Titans) and Kevin Curtis (Rams).

Sorry but considering that TO was the mvp of this team this year....none of those scrubs are going to replace him.

This offense is going to be in bad shape in 2007 if Romo continues his struggles and has nobody to throw to.....Yikes!

Bledsoe will make it work in 07.

IMO, I see no reason why T.O. won't be back, I believe both T.O. and Bill return for one last shot.

I think TO made it pretty clear. In Michael Irvin interview he said he was happy to be a Cowboy and said that he wished he had been a Cowboy all along(something along those lines).... recently he said that he wont talk about it much but if he wasnt here next year he would be playing somewhere....the way the contract is structured... sounds like he was just keeping it real, yo!

I'm beginning to think you're T.O's publicist :D

I'd be worried about Chris Henry and his character myself, but to call him "average" is ridiculous...he made more big plays down the stretch that the other two guys...He's an incredible, superstar-type talent.

Down the stretch, as in December? He was held to 0, 30, and 31 yards in 3 games this December and in the Steelers game (which they lost) he had 124 yards off 4 catches 2 of them being over the 50 yard variety.

why are we talking about getting rid of our number 1 receiver?

How much does it pay? :D I will do it.

Actually if I met this guy... I would tell him straight up... HEY, shut up and let your play speak for itself...wake the *bleep* up .... the hourglass is losing sand

T.O will be here next year PERIOD!!! he has done nothing to deserve otherwise

Yeah, right. Maybe Hurd can replace T.O. Or maybe we can get Copper back.

Because he runs sloppy routes along the side lines way to often watch how he does not give the QB a place to throw on deep balls along the sideline

He drops to many balls in key situations (Lets see 4th and 2 Giants Commanders game there are more)

Makes sense, guys! Let's get rid of our No. 1 receiver cause he might cause dissension in the locker room. Maybe Randy Moss or Plaxico? Or bring back Antonio Bryant?

Yeah, let's get rid of T.O. That would leave us with an aging Terry Glenn and two novices, Hurd and Crayton. That would be just wonderful.

unbelievable.
