Who should we root for Sunday GreenBay or Philly?

I don't know. I don't think the Cowboys want to face Matt Flynn again.

That was last year. Different faces on defense. I trust this bunch more and our logical approach in our offense will prevent a meltdown like that.

I think what the poster is saying is that GB is the most dangerous of the other NFC teams, and they will push us out of the picture if we don't get that division.

Still want Philly to eat it. Eat it hard.

It's a win-win situation either way, provided the Cowboys win. I think we can beat the Packers in Green Bay as long as it's cool, as long as we stay healthy and as long as we continue to feature the running game. And isn't Romo from that area, anyway? He's used to playing in cold weather.

Romo hasn't played there in 13 years , he's as used to it as the rest of the team.

Rooting for the Packers is a no brainer. I hope they beat them and give them a very physical beating. Our D is going to have its hands very full with the Eagles O and with the addition of Sproles we really are going to have our work cut out for us.

I am going to be honest....if Eagles special teams continues to produce points and Sanchez doesn't over-think Kelley offense...I am not sure who in NFC can stop Eagles. I still don't think Eagles have enough to beat Denver or New England in Super Bowl match.
Really? Based on what I've seen, I expect to beat the Eagles by multiple scores. They just don't seem that impressive to me.

Gotta root for the any team which plays against our division.

I hope the Iggles lose, but Mark Sanchez plays well. I love sticking it to Jets fans !!! Their misery is unending !!!

Yea I definitely don't see the Cowboys beating the Eagles by multiple scores, both will be hard fought games.

can't ever root for the eagles, ever....and, we haven't made the playoffs just yet and the division teams losing makes it that much easier (not that any of it is easy)....lose to GB and then to us and we have a game in hand while they still have Seattle coming up

This. No real cowboy fan ever roots for the eagles (except maybe against the slurs).

Even if we need them to beat someone in Week 17 in order for us to make the playoffs?

I'd say a "real" Cowboys fan loves the Cowboys more than he hates any other team, so rooting for something that benefits the Cowboys should be more important than rooting against another team just because they're rivals.

In a strange way it may be better if Philly beats Greenbay to get them to 4 losses. I just would feel better about our chances of making the playoffs if we have a cushion over the Packers because I don't think San Fran or Seattle will be able to catch or jump Dallas in the standings because all of those teams in the NFC west still have to play each other.

The tiebreaker over Seattle is a huge advantage for us. Big games this weekend with Detroit playing Arizona and Philly vs Greenbay.

I kind of see what you mean and a small part of me is leaning that way because for some reason I feel the Cowboys would be up for a 9-2 Eagles team at home since they will be the underdog. And then a win would close the gap to one game and have the eagles at 9-3 and the Boys at 9-3.

So looks like a GB loss would not be as bad as I thought LOL

not sure we are watching same league. The eagles aren't just winning their blowing some teams out by halftime (Carolina & Giants come to mind). Hands down they have best coach in NFL right now. The team and the city have completely unequivocally bought into Chip Kelly. I hope your right and Dallas destroys them but I think your grossly under-estimating them.We will know shortly.

The only way I could root for Philly is if it was week 17, the division was already decided, and we needed whoever Philly was playing to lose so we could get in the playoffs.
