well I certainly cant wish for the classless Eagles to win, but in the end Dallas will beat them to take the division so they might as well get the Saints on out of the way. the Saints are playing a bit better now, will be interesting to see if they can protect Brees.

One win or loss can and often does change significantly the odds of making the playoffs. You'll notice the Packers have a greater chance of making the playoffs than we do. Even though they are on the outside looking in right now they have a 67% chance of making the playoffs.

Changing their odds with a 6-4 record hurts them much more and helps us as much. If Philly loses then they won't have that drastic of a change is you look at the rest of the NFC.

My heart says go GB although that sticks in my craw. The best thing for the Cowboys is for Philly to win.

Even if we need them to beat someone in Week 17 in order for us to make the playoffs?

I'd say a "real" Cowboys fan loves the Cowboys more than he hates any other team, so rooting for something that benefits the Cowboys should be more important than rooting against another team just because they're rivals.

This scenario is different, so if it ever happens, then yeah.

Where is that from job? Being one game apart after only ten games yet only a 2% chance of being the division winner sounds like fuzzy math. The odds should be much greater than that while Philly should still have the better odds.

2% at this point sounds like someone needs to take a statistics class and quit pulling numbers out of their butt.

That's a 2% chance of being the No. 1 seed, not of winning the division. Add the first four seeds together, and it's a ~31% chance of winning the division.

The dilemma is that this could be that scenario, only seven weeks early. Come Week 17, if we don't win the division, we could be wishing that the Packers had lost to the Eagles back in Week 10 because they're getting a wild card and we're not.

Division is #1 goal. Go Pack Go.

Exactly!!!

If Philly goes into Thanksgiving still one game ahead of us and the unthinkable happens............we lose...........then we are then 2.5 games behind them.

And if you don't think winning the division over being a wildcard is that much of a difference in the playoffs, keep this in mind...............it has been 22 years since Dallas has won a road playoff game.

Bottom Line............ROOT FOR GB THIS SUNDAY

Like I said the only bright side of the eagles winning is

"Them being favored in the thanksgiving game since they would have the better record which would make the cowboys played them even harder"

And by that time they would be DUE for a loss. So that is the only good thing that can come out of a loss

I want Philly to lose. I can see them losing to GB, Sea and to us on Thanksgiving. GB's offense will give them hell, Seattle's defense will expose Sanchez and our balanced attack will take their will out of the game against us.

I know GB is looking real good but the hopeful scenario would be this.

1- Arizona
2- Dallas
3- Detroit
4- NO
5- Seattle@NO
6- GB@Det

I would rather have the first overall pick in the draft than to root for that scum bag franchise to win a game....................I sill remember them cheering as Irvin was laying on the turf at the old vet stadium temporarily paralyzed.

Beast doesn't forget chit like that.

Seattle's defense couldn't even expose that rookie QB for the Raiders IN SEATTLE. The Seahawks are not that great anymore and I'd be shocked if they beat the Eagles in Philly.

Easily, Green Bay. They will win that division anyways with really only one tough game left(NE at home) until they demolish Detroit at home to close the regular season.

We need DET to start losing, not GB IMO. They have three future losses coming up, maybe four.

I want a division title, not a WC birth with a 1st round exit.....................Philly needs to lose!

Are we rooting for the Niners or the Gmen? Niners have tiebreaker on us and are only one game back. We play the Gmen the following week.

Are we rooting for the Lions or the Cardinals?

These are easy. We're definitely rooting for the Giants. And we're definitely rooting for the Cardinals. The Cardinals can have the #1 seed, they are a non-threat in the playoffs IMO.

Are you predicting a first round home playoff loss for the Cards?
