Last time I hit the breaks me canoe almost tipped over and I lost me banjo.

lmao...did you know that if you would have had a guitar when them brakes failed, you could float on a guitar.

Banjo's are for them playing noise...with a guitar.

The Kyle Shanahan argument against Lance is weak.

As has been pointed out here before, Lance was a very bad choice for the 49ers. He was a long term project on a win-now team. Shanny did not have the time or patience to let Lance take his lumps because he had no interest in only winning seven or eight games.

Lance, however, is a very nice fit in Dallas. They have an established starter and therefore can give Lance two or three years to prove his worth. Remember Dallas can now take on the optional fifth year in Lance's rookie deal so they can evaluate him right through 2025 if they want.

He has been worse so far.

He just arrived five days ago! Give the kid a chance. Remember when you got kicked out of class for being a fool, well, look at you now. Lay off of the moonshine.

Yeah the professionals saw so much in him they drafted Phillip Rivers 4th overall lol......you just say anything lol. Brees HOF career started with the Saints. ITs a fact. Maybe you have a great eye and saw his talent in SD. Good for you. But his talent wasn't on full display until he got to NO with Sean Payton. Sorry.
Wow, not a single word of what you wrote is true.

They didn't draft Philip Rivers fourth overall, they drafted Eli Manning first overall. But that's a minor point.
They did that because Brees had disappointed up to that point. But after that, in 2004, Brees lit it up: he was in the running for OPOY that year. His talent was on full display.
And the Chargers suddenly had a problem, which was widely reported and discussed at the time. They had a QB who had become a star, and they had Rivers waiting in the wings.
Between Brees's injury and Rivers's presence, they ended up moving on. But there was no doubt that teams were excited about what a healthy Brees could do (in large part because they'd seen it).

Also, they drafted him to start right away because they needed a QB real bad. But they threw him into a fire pit before he knew what the hell hit him. Now, he can come and hone his skills as a young man...

He is 23 and has tremendous upside. He can sit and learn and play later. He might be very good and he might not. He fits on this team.
Move Lance to the practice squad. Protect him there. Dumb decision to keep him on the 53 to occupy a roster spot which would be better used on someone who can play right now.

Exactly. The kid threw just 319 passes in college and people expected miracles out of him. Look how much Sam Darnold has played. He'd better be ahead of Lance on the SF depth chart.

He's also behind Cooper Rush here. But that's just right now. People need to give him a chance.

He will be in the shadows during games, watching and learning what his new team is all about.

Any player Dallas kept over Lance is probably on the practice squad now anyway.

He didn't cost the Cowboys any "play now" player because all the "play now" players already made the team.

Lance is a threat to that poster. Consider the source...leave Dak alone...don't make him compete with a young kid.

Lance is too dumb to play anytime in 2023. Everyone knows it. Could have used that extra roster spot to keep Land as DE or someone else who could play at sometime this year. You don't use a spot on the 53 to sit and coach a player all season long with hopes they might contribute next year. That's what practice squads are for.

Land would have been inactive the entire season so that's an equally wasteful use of a roster spot. Land isn't getting snaps with Parsons, D-Law, Armstrong, Williams, Fowler, and Fehoku on the team.

Dak is a threat to your fragile feelings. I would rather have a legit QB backup who can actually push Dak right now, than some mental overrated bust who has already been told he won't have any chance of even competing for a backup spot until next year and who never was notified to the head coach for input before bringing in. Stupid dumb management.

What has Fehoku shown? Nothing. Land showed much more this preseason.

You just showed you card.

Oh, now everything is dumb because you don't like it? Yea, that's pretty dumb if you ask me.
