They kept the game close for a half. We had the ball down 17-7 in the 3rd quarter. The second half was a Dak implosion. That said, I never thought this defense was elite. They dominate bad teams mostly and pad stats in those games. SF is better than us at every level.

Yeah I still had hope at that point thinking we would make adjustments. But we did not. I saw Dez call them out on Twitter. He is Cowboys all the way and said I have to say it. They are predictable, they run everytime they are under center and pass when in shot gun. Every time they line up the opposing defense knows if it’s pass or run. Makes it really easy to play against. That and the routes on pass plays had all the receivers breaking at the same time. Lol.
I see that too. But I think MM has had to simplfy routes to adapt to Dak and his inability to read defenses quickly and make adjustments. We’ve seen it every year Dak has been the QB under all 3 OCs.

Its a bully defense. They destroy weaker opponents, but can be exploited by stong ones. Been this way since last year. We have had a lot of good games against strong offenses, but if a team can protect its QB they can pick us apart
here's the thing with offenses they have five times the amount of plays in that playbook that's called on a given game plan and on a given day it's the coaches responsibility to throw the game plan out when it's not working in the second quarter and switch to something else and just I don't care just let Prescott all his own place they can get in the house and go you know what F all this let's just go play go run nine routes all day I don't care I get what you're saying but the compliment ends when the defense doesn't play well so when they see this in the game they have to adjust.. And when they don't this is what you get from your quarterback a frustrated and irritated quarterback with a bunch of irritated wide receivers because they're not trying to throw the ball downfield So what do they go do they force it downfield three straight times and they get intercepted the game was already out of reach it was already over these interceptions didn't count except for they made Prescott the issue on Monday morning
Actually it was it was as bad if not worse the wide open place they just basically ate up the clock scored I kept getting it back do the same thing rinse and repeat all phases were equally as bad if you're not willing to admit it nobody's gonna sit here and have this debate with you the defense was terrible the penalties alone what's sway the tie on who was worse.. They were boneheaded penalties mental mistakes that lack of execution they were being aggressive playing hero ball everybody all of a sudden got sack happy they want interceptions and they want sacks so they could be talked about on Monday.. We are seeing it I think we'd be better off with bell and Thomas than we are with Donovan Wilson cause he seems to have came back and now he's playing out of position trying to reinsert himself into the conversation as one of the big hitters and a guy that's gonna go get a fumble or an interception and and lots of guys are now playing like that on this defense instead of staying in their lanes and just doing their jobs...
Defense was actually playing well in the first half. The offense couldnt stay on the field, when did they get their 2nd first down?
Well, McCarthy has been working 20 hours a day. He doesnt know that when he comes out Dak will still be the QB
