Absolutely. Anither prime example of this organization taking too many gambles and making too many assumptions with important draft picks.

That's the the biggest problem of the Cowboys. Not that they don't use draft picks on defense, it's that they don't respect or the value of early round draft. Otherwise there would be fewer gambles on the Jaylon Smiths and Randy Gregorys of the world.

They haven’t invested a lot in the defense and some of the investments have failed (Byron Jones and Jaylon Smith). There is a reason a lot of us did not like the Zeke pick. Had a chance to add an impact defensive player.

you can´t say Jaylon Smith a failure until he is fully recover from his injury and play a full season,he has not play football for a year
