Not sure...but if the Prescott experiment ends in failure, Garrett must bare some culpability...MUCH culpability imo. The vacuous argument that Romo would have gotten hurt is straight bunk. He get's hurt and you just re-insert Prescott. The brass made a short-term decision that MAY have long-term consequences that aren't good. For many that hurts to admit or acknowledge but it must be accepted as a possible outcome. The issue becomes one of trust. How well do you trust those in charge to make the best long-term decisions regarding player personnel?

That’s the difference between me and you. I don’t care about stats. I care about wins. And Romo was not a consistent winner. Simple and plain. We retooled the team several times over in giant favor and we still have never made it past the divisional playoffs with him. You all act like we were a score away from a championship with Romo. Yea. He had big stats because his *** almost always started off slow and in the hole and we had to throw a million times a game just to stay competitive. Please tell me what you’ve seen Romo do that would convince you we would’ve won the super bowl? Because history has proven that Romo’s silly *** would’ve most likely made some kind of boneheaded play to cost us the game. As he has done many times before.

simple the genius Jones boys decided dak was the new franchise QB and that he was better than Romo.


Last week S,Jones said he didnt like Dak running with the ball, he is too valuable to risk getting hurt,
so today only one run by dak, and that was ad lib.
He also infered Aikman was a armchair QB when Aikman said Dallas offense showed no creativity.

Jones boys are the real HC of this team, JG just relays their decisions to players and coaches.

But Jones boys know they are smartest guys on the planet, and tonight they are bummed out,
so will go home and count how much money they have and scheme how they can get some more.

I will say this, Tony should have started the last hame with phil. If he played well ,won and doesnt get hurt,
which he wasnt going to, they should have let him play GB.
Next year let Tony Start and Dak is # 2, then we have a great QB situation.

Instead they dump tony, then no good bkup for dak, or if dak is one season wonder, you let tony go or ran him off,
and you didnt get any bkup who could take over.

Now about dak right now , some of his passes are off, but all qb have passes like that, in this seattle game the worst thing to me
was the pass to swaim at end that was int, there was no reason to force a pass like that on 1st down. bad decision.

But Dak had the rpo's taken away by stephen, and the pass rush was too good, and they dont adjust to help with blocking
or use quicker routes.
Tavon wasnt in the game enough.

Dak had a really really good 4th quarter and a terrible 1st 3, well maybe a good last couple of minutes of the 3rd

But he got us back into the game. Its all spectacultion that Romo would have made any difference. Especially when you consider his history in games like that

It doesn't matter if Romo lasted 2 games or 12, if you want to win you play your best players and the Cowboys didn't do that, that is why they lost alot of us with Dak, it isn't personel towards Dak it was about winning and playing our best team

maybe you don't care about stats but if you think in today's NFL you can consistantly win football game when you QB can't throw for 200 yards (maybe i should say 175) then you don't really understand the game today

Jason Garrett stabbed him in the back. He couldn't stand Romo running the show so he saw the opportunity and ran with it. The man couldn't even have the decency to let Tony compete for the job like he wanted to.

It was shameful how the cowboys handled the situation. You got Tony Romo, a man who did all you could for that franchise. Blood sweat and tears. Carrying them to relevance when they had no buisness being relevant,,, and that's how you treat him?
