can you spell pathetic?
You did not shut down Denver. Period. You did not shut down NY. Period. You lost both games. You gave up 271 yards rushing during those games. The Chiefs, who do not have a very good defense, have not given up a 100 yard rusher this season. You've given up a 100 yard rusher each of the last 2 weeks.sacase said:Broke, you kill me, I give you facts you give me excuses.
Fact, the cowboys shut down offenses.
Fact, the cowboys played the top scoring offenses three weeks strait and shut them down.
Fact the Cowboys also went on a three game winning streak.
Fact Roy Williams is the Best SS in the league and he will be in the box (I hope LJ brought his depends undergarments to wear)
Fact, no team has returned a kick or punt on us for a touchdown.
Fact, as bad as our offense is, we lead the NFL is ToP.
Fact, your highpowered Offense has only scored 4 more TD's than us and we have been missing our Probowl LT for most of the year and have a 6th round rookie playing at right. (in fact I think it is kinda funny that your high powered offense only has 4 more TD's than us and they have 3 Probowl Linemen.......If we had three prowbowl linemen....I belive we would be undefeated.)
Fact philly and Denver both hung 30+ on you. Niether team scored no where near that on us.
Fact, two of your wins in your three game winning streak were gimmies. (Houston, New England)
Fact, you kicker ain't that great past 40 yards. (Not that ours is any better)
Fact your AWSOME special teamer DH, has only scored one TD this year.
You team ain't that great, I am not saying we are much better, but I like how we match up against you. Your offensive strengths play right into our defensive strengths. Honestly teams that give us problems are teams that generate a lot of pressure and have TWO good DE. We can account for one, two makes life hard for us. This will not be a high scoring game. LJ will not get 100 yards and TG will not surpass 250. Better hope your kicker can kick better thant 57% from beyond 30.

oh yeah, and I saw bigscottyz's joke of a rankings, ask him why the Falcons are ranked ahead of Dallas, but if the playoffs started today, Dallas would hold the tiebreaker over them...

it's funny how the same people look at his rankings and get riled up lol why do they even try
oops, we've strayed off-topic hehe

I don't know what 3 week stretch of facing the best offenses in the NFL you're referring to, but you haven't played any of the top 3 offenses in the NFL this season even once.

Philly and Denver did put 31 and 30 on us respectively. San Francisco put 34 on you, and you hang your hat on your defense.
You start out by telling me about your not giving excuses then proceed to whine about injuries.
You then leave out the fact that, when we played Philly and Denver, we were missing our starting CB and 3 of our starting offensive linemen, 2 of which were in the ProBowl last year. As a result, we couldn't chew up the clock and put our defense in bad situations. That doesn't matter, though. We lost and that's that. That was our low point of the season. Fortunately it was 9 weeks ago. We are now playing our best football of the year on both sides of the ball.
The Cowboys are now in freefall. A few weeks ago, you looked like a lock for the playoffs at 7-3.
I like our chances.
1. Denver scored 24 points and ran for 141 yards. They could have punched the ball in for a TD and scored 28 points if they felt like it. Incidentally, they won the game.AdamJT13 said:Denver's offense scored 17 points, and three of those came in overtime. The Giants' offense scored 10 points. Both of those offenses have scored more than the Chiefs' offense.
Through four quarters, we held the Broncos' offense to 14 points and 231 yards. In the very next game, the Broncos put up 27 points and 388 yards in four quarters against the Chiefs' defense.
No we haven't. The Broncos didn't have a 100-yard rusher against us. And they put up 131 yards rushing against Kansas City. We held them to less than 90 yards through four quarters.
When we faced the Eagles, Giants and Seahawks earlier in the season, they had the top-ranked offenses in yards, scoring and yards, respectively. Our defense shut down all three of them quite handily -- they averaged less than 230 yards per game, and they COMBINED for two offensive touchdowns.

2. NY ran for 130 yards. They won the game.
3. You all love to "forget" about the most important part of the game. In case you missed it, Ron Dayne (yes, that Ron Dayne) ripped off a huge run against your defense and the Cowboys lost the game.
4. The Chiefs didn't shut down the Broncos. We just beat them.
5. Seattle is 4th, Philadelphia is 13th, and the Giants are 9th. That's 1 good offense and 2 average ones.
Your points 1-4 are completely worthless as they amount to nothing more than patting yourselves on the back following losses and/or criticizing the Chiefs following a win.
Your final point is just an exaggeration of the facts. Your defense played well over a 3 game span against 1 good offense and 2 average offenses. You still lost the only road game in that stretch. It was your best 3-game stretch of the season in terms of winning %. It matches the Chiefs winning % for the season.
Please stop manking a fool out of me.sacase said:Man I hate manking a fool out of you but I guess I have to.
You're right. You gave up a total of 130 yards that game, but they weren't all to Barber. Still not an impressive numbersacase said:First get your facts strait, only one person has got 100 yards on us and that is Tiki Barber.
Actually, they scored 3 and could have scored 4 but they chose to kick a FG in OT. Granted one was scored by their defense, but I know you're a stickler for accuracy. Broncos win.sacase said:How many TD's did denver score on us? 2. total of 24 points. Plummer under 200 yards passing and no 100 yard rusher. Shut down.
Giants score 2 TDs. Giants rush for 130 yards. Giants Win.sacase said:How many TD's Did NY score on us? 1. SHUT DOWN!
Only FOUR teams have beat the Chiefs all year. No team has scored as many points against us as the 49ers scored against the Cowboys. I'd rather be 8-4.sacase said:Only FOUR teams have scored more than 20 points on us. 7 teams put up more than 20 on you. Personally I rather give up yards than points.
None of those teams are in the top 3. Only one of those teams are in the top 8. You still only won 2 out of three and lost your only road game.sacase said:The three week stretch where we played the top offenses in the NFL was when we played Philly, NYFG and Seattle. When we played them they were the TOP scoring offenses in the NFL.
It doesn't matter how bad you lose. A loss is a loss. You've got more than us.sacase said:We haven't been blown out, you have.
I've already addressed the part about the NFC teams. SD was not shut down. They scored 24 points.sacase said:Get a clue, SD and Seattle are number 2 and 3 in the NFL in scoring. They were shut down. Also SD is the 5th ranked scoring offense. They were shut down. we have played 3 of the top 5, so please **** about that.
I specifically said that I didn't want to talk about injuries and that our injuries weren't an excuse. We lost those games just like you lost yours.sacase said:You wanted to complain about injuries and you still do, I mentioned that we also have had our injuries but we are still accomplishing things. No excuses whining or crying, it is what it is. We STILL lead the NFL in ToP without our probowl LT. How is they whining.
Let's talk about injuries since you are trying to use them as an excuse. WE were missing our RC, RMLB, and LOLB. But yet we still SHUT OFFENSES DOWN. We have three rookies on the D. We still SHUT THEM DOWN. Point in all this being we had injuries also, they are no excuse. We had our share of injuries we still performed, you didn't. Three weeks ago we did not look like a lock., No cowboys fan would tell you that. We looked damn good but we knew we had a tough schedule a head.
Yes the 2-time defending Superbowl champs who lead their division and have a better record than the Cowboys (excluding the game against the Chiefs) are a bad team. The only team in that stretch that isn't leading their division is the Texans. They suck and we beat them 45-17. It's not as if we eked out a win.sacase said:If you are playing your best football I rally feel sorry for you, you were handed two easy wins against bad teams. You want to say how much Rushing yardage we gave up, well let's look at total yards. The last two games you have given up 694 yards and 43 points, we have given up 570 yards and 41 points (14 of those points came off of defensive TD's) so our D gave up 27 points.
If by shutting people down you mean making excuses for losing, you certainly have been shutting people down. If by not being able to compete you mean that I destroyed every single point you tried to make, I guess I can't compete.sacase said:Dude you can't compete, anything you can do I can do better. We are at our lowpoint and we are still shutting people down. WE get our Big CB back this week, who before he got hurt was playing like a probowler. We have one of the best secondaries in the NFL with the only weakness at FS.
Who cares about where they ranked at the time? That early in the season, stats get skewed due to insufficient data. If you were a Jets fan you'd probably argue that you shut down a Miami team that was averaging 34 PPG when you played them in week 2. I know you'd like to skew the facts to your advantage. I prefer to use the larger and thus more accurate sample when using stats to prove my point.sacase said:Look man until you research your facts you really need to ****. When we played them thery were the TOP scorring offenses in the NFL, just go look at the game book and see how many points they were putting up until they played us, you can RESEARCH that fairly easily. Please quit talking out your fouth point of contact, you just keep looking less and less informed.
