performance up untill now?
im talking about opposing teams fans, not cowboy fans.
Every message board i come across most of them say well he will only get worse once defenses figure him out, he is a flash in the pan, he is only doing good because he has great weapons around him.
it makes me mad, that Romo isnt getting any credit by opposing fans
This is not meant to insult you okay. You're naive if you think all football fans feel the same way about every player. You're even more naive if you think every fan of other teams are going to see greatness in our players and gush about them.
It just doesn't happen. You name a player and somewhere out there you will find people critical of his talent. I suppose the closest you could come to that not happening might be LaDanian Tomlinson this year. I'd still bet you could find fans who will say "I'd rather have______________."
Do you ooh and ahh over every Commanders player having a good season? Every Eagles player having a good season? Every Giants player having a good season? If your answer is "no" to any one of the questions above then the question becomes "why do you expect something of others that you yourself will not do?"
Fans by nature are skeptical. Vince Young has rallied the Titans. I don't see the entire football watching world enamored with Vince Young. There are still doubters. Frank Gore has had a remarkable rushing year. I don't see football fans all over the world wishing they could get Frank Gore. There are still doubters.
Oh, and one more thing. Romo is getting some credit among opposing fans, just not every single one of them. You see, opposing fans are no different than us. Some of us here will give Jeff Garcia credit this week for the resurrection of the Eagles after McNabb went down. Some of us will denounce everything he does as a product of the WCO.
No player is universally loved and praised by all. Not even Tony Romo. Try not to be mad. The less of these
we have to see, the better.
