Coooooooper, all aboard the Cooper train!!!It's different for sure......but let's not start the "Cooper is the Man" campaign again. Don't do that to Cooper.

For one....GREAT you are having fun with coop. Some people are trying to bully other people about being well....happy...for coop.Coooooooper, all aboard the Cooper train!!!
When the defense shows no pass rush, which is what Wash did, and when the defense gives up run plays, which Wash has done all year, you will see more downfield passing. If the Giants muster a pass rush and our OL doesn’t hold up, you’ll see the quick, short passes again. Mike cannot just call any play we want to see or even what we need for a first down. He has to call plays based on what we are doing on the OL.I don’t think I saw one curl route yesterday. Totally different . I’ll take more of that please. Until next year… when the 60million dollar man returns.
Once again, it was Cooper getting rid of the ball quickly. I mean, it was 3 steps back and toss it.When the defense shows no pass rush, which is what Wash did, and when the defense gives up run plays, which Wash has done all year, you will see more downfield passing. The real question is was Sunday more our OL or more Washington’s D Line? Personally, I think it was more Washington’s shortcomings on D.
Considering who the Cowboys had playing on the OL that's a pretty bold statement. The real question is was Sunday more our OL or more Washington’s D Line? Personally, I think it was more Washington’s shortcomings on D.
Yup. If anything, the OL was worse this game than it had been.Considering who the Cowboys had playing on the OL that's a pretty bold statement.
He hasn’t had a Safe feeling with any receivers . So he just throws the ball to anyone. That’s why there’s more drops we were as Prescott trust different receivers and they get the ball more often. If we had a better receiving core, both quarterbacks would be better. You guys are taking things the entire wrong way, FORGET the points!!!!!!!!! This offense couldn't score if it were all 11 players and 1 player playing defense, I get that! I'm just saying schematically it looks better, the type of formations, and the distribution of the ball!!!
That’s not true either. Russ doesn’t care who he throws the ball to. He hasn’t built up a report yet. That’s why we are having more drops. Yes the ball comes out faster. But it’s not necessarily better because someone else can’t read a defense that’s foolish. Not true. He has the exact same pocket Dak had, he simply reads the D quicker and so gets rid of the ball much faster.
Obvious stuff, dude, if you let go your agenda.
Of course it's two different players, but Dak was known for having more athletic abilities than Rush, yet every game we've seen rush in this year, he's been in the pistol??
I'm not trying to make this into a diss Dak thread, I just think there's elements to this offense that seem to work better with Rush in there. The game plan seems much better, the plays seem better. I'm not sure why we don't do these kinds of things with Dak. Please give me your thoughts
I think Rush makes better, quicker decisions relative to the game plan that is customized toward his capabilities. Credit McCarthy and Schottenheimer as well.If Rush had a live arm he might be one otlf the best in the league. But he has a noodle, so hes really not good. The team plays steps up and plays hard and with more discipline for him though, so...Leadership.
The offense averages like 2 TD's less and like 100 fewer yards per game using this "Rush" game plan. They have scored a total of 36 points in the last three games (12 ppg) with Rush starting. Please clue us in on how this is "better?"Of course it's two different players, but Dak was known for having more athletic abilities than Rush, yet every game we've seen rush in this year, he's been in the pistol??

you like everyone else are looking at POINTS/Stats, i'm looking at how he gets the ball out and other small things compared to Dak, NOT SAYING anyone's better than the other, offense just looks a bit different schematicallyThe offense averages like 2 TD's less and like 100 fewer yards per game using this "Rush" game plan. I really like the way Rush quickly gets rid of the ball. I believe Dak holds on the ball too long trying to make the splash plays instead of taking what the defense is giving like Cooper did.
With that said, I believe Dak plays like that because he's under the pressure of justifying his contract... and rightfully so!!! You get paid big, you HAVE to make plays, period.
Rush isn't under any pressure at all and it shows in the way that he plays. Rush did an outstanding job in Washington and I appreciate him for that.
It also helped that Rush had the aid of a running game. That's something Dak hasn't had to aid him in a while. One dimensional offense.
You literally said "this seems better." I watch the games.. I cringe every time Rush has to make a throw outside the numbers because the ball takes so long to get there. He's fumbled 6 times in 3 starts. Fortunately he or a teammate have fallen on three of them but that is way too damn many fumbles in such a short span. Yes the offense looks different because the guy playing QB now can't do the same things the other guy could so he is not being asked to do them. There are plays they simply cannot and will not call with Rush at QB. And there are riskier throws he won't even attempt even if it is called. I'm happy we won the game. But we know what we are going to get out of Rush. About 20 points tops so we need the defense to be lights out and the special teams to kick it into high gear to have a chance to win. We got all three on Sunday. How many more games will we get 14 points on kick returns and have the defense smother the opposing offense except for one or two big plays? And a side question is what would our record be if we had gotten that in Dak's starts? By my count that extra 14 points would have beaten the Falcon, 49ers and Ravens. So we would have been 6-2 with Dak at the helm if we got this performance week in and week out from the defense and special teams.you like everyone else are looking at POINTS/Stats, i'm looking at how he gets the ball out and other small things compared to Dak, NOT SAYING anyone's better than the other, offense just looks a bit different schematically
you're again putting words in my mouth lol "this" seems better, not what you're trying to pin on me as saying, so I don't get why you're doing this. Once again, when's the last time we've seen Dak line up outside of the shot gun formation, with Rush we're somehow using the pistol, I'd love to see Dak in a formation like this or something else. I guess it's what makes him more comfortable, doesn't make anyone better than the other, I just like seeing us change it up, and actually make the defense thinkYou literally said "this seems better."
