It's not an either or situation. The team is winning with Rush.
With rush...not because of rush?

Let's not forget we are #2 in scoring defense during past three games. Rush is exactly what's needed withe defense we have..drive the bus. Enjoy the ride.

And Dak needs to do the same. Dak is better than rush so hopefully that will translate to better overall game results

Lol these rush fans are hilarious
Our offense was allegedly 1st last year...and what did it do for us?: Got our Ax bounced out right quick.

So your cute little offense ranking STAT doesn't mean sheet.

But you go ahead and keeping hating on Cooper to elevate Dak.

It's a TEAM game, remember? Or does that only apply when dak loses?

Cooper is doing his part. We shouldn't poo it just because Dak is better.

But let's go ahead and keep picking that scab and goading dak haters. We need to do OUR part too!

And two the week before, but they were dropped. Everyone acts like he’s made no mistakes. He has, but the opposition just hasn’t taken advantage. It happens to every QB, but let’s drop the Rush makes no mistakes narrative
WRONG!

The clear difference is Rush is SO SMART that he throws them at just the right time that he already knows they will either get called back or dropped. He has calculated this as high probability because he processes information like a computer.

Dak, on the other hand, still has to have people help him tie his shoes.

Thanks for the clarity, I get it now. And I understood
and appreciate your tone!

If an INT is dropped it is not an INT....football 101.

Unless Dak does it.

Then we forget football 101 and post a 40-page thread on the front of this site about how stupid he is and how we need a real qb. We then mulch over the same 4 or 5 digs on him and drag up articles from 2019 AND a botched smoke screen from his rookie year.

Sprinkle a few taken out-of-context/exaggerated quotes and that should cover it.

And yet someone felt the need to post how coop's TD was off.

You guys are birds of a feather....two to tango, yin and yang and you can't see it.

Bickering over stupid stuff. You play this part and it FEEDS on itself. SOMEONE...has to stop it. It would only take one side to break the cycle. Who is the smartest? Anybody?

Dak had 134 yards, completion % of 48, 1 interception and no touchdowns in game 1….he lowered the offensive rankings and lost the game for us.

You will not get a straight argument with him. Rush could haul off and win the Super Bowl with this squad and he and the other Dak homers would try the argument that Dak would throw for at least 1-2 more TD’s while doing the same if he was only healthy.

I said before Rush had even started a game that he could throw for 500 yards and throw 5 tds per game and he would still not be the starter. They will not bench the QB getting Dak’s contract. We knew that before the backup started. I don’t even think most of us that are critical of Dak will not be critical of Rush or believe he is the answer.

I think it is hilarious that somehow Dak being in shotgun is all KM. Dak prefers taking snaps from shotgun and if he would like to alter play-calling he has the most power to do it. You get that contract, you get that power-gimme a break with this crap about it being the OC or coaches.

No, in fact I agree with you.

It's a team game.

Did anyone here mention that one of the teams Rush led us to a win has a 4-1 record? As in the giants.

I wasn’t sure if anybody posted that Rushs Cowboys put up 23 points against the 4-1 Giants while Arron Rodgers Packers could only muster 22 points against them.

Nobody overlooking this little tidbit? Right?

Ball moving more consistently, TOP, stuff like that. Not near as pretty, but more conducive to winning.

Now, if they only start having Dak play this way.

If I'm not mistaken the Cowboys have lost time of possession in most of these games..

Washington - 33:06 - Dallas 26.54
NYG 27:18 - Dallas 32:42
Cincy 33:48 - Dallas 26:12

So they won TOP against the Giants.. but got hammered against Cincy and Washington. I do NOT want Dak to play this way.. I want him to play this style.. but a lot better..

I didn't start a thread about it Steve.

I merely pointed out the obvious. Instead, people went into lamenting mode and started RUING that we didn't have Amari to run an uncovered slant route.

The offense is doing what it is supposed to do…...ball control. Imagine if they had better starting field position? They seem to usually start deep in their own territory. Sure, more TD’s would be nice and it might come tomorrow as they gel more together

The Cowboys lost time of possession against Washington and CIncy by over 8 minutes apiece.. Please explain how this equates to ball control?

He did. 7/13 for 64 yds after Dak went down in TB game.

Ahh but those game in the 4th quarter with the Cowboys down more than two scores.. If I recall correctly, those must be discounted as "garbage time stats." And even at that they're not exactly earth shattering.
