It’s really simple. Fewer penalties and elite defense play. That’s it.
Well, thanks for the concern.Good. Glad to hear it. I worry about some of my fellow cowboys fans. You seem a little better now.
It seems like the only criticism you don't like is criticism of Dak, and I wasn't even being critical of him. We've been winning with Rush is my only point. If we keep winning with him, then I think it would be best for several reasons to ride that out. One of them isn't that I think he's the better QB or that the players think he's the better QB. There's something to be said for sticking with the hot hand until it isn't hot anymore.
Somebody did mention that, actually. Copycat! Although, that might've been in the Early Game thread.Did anyone here mention that one of the teams Rush led us to a win has a 4-1 record? As in the giants.
I wasn’t sure if anybody posted that Rushs Cowboys put up 23 points against the 4-1 Giants while Arron Rodgers Packers could only muster 22 points against them.
Nobody overlooking this little tidbit? Right?
Back to the video…they are talking about taking snaps in the shotgun vs under center. Isn’t it true that Aikman hated the shotgun? Even in 3rd and long he preferred being under center.
Should’ve been 3.No, he didn't.
26th in the NFL.13th in scoring the last 3 games
According to the numbers you posted, neither of those had an 8 minute difference. 6 or 7 is still a lot, but I think your math is off a bit.The Cowboys lost time of possession against Washington and CIncy by over 8 minutes apiece.. Please explain how this equates to ball control?
They are. Rush is a good backup but he wouldn’t start on any team.Lol these rush fans are hilarious
I'm surprised I've never heard Romo say he hated it, considering how many times the ball was snapped too high to reach it, or before he was even looking for it.Yes Aikman absolutely hated shotgun as well. He didn't like having to take his eyes off the defense to find the ball.. Most QBs who dislike shotgun dislike it for that reason. Like I said, the modern guys don't know any better because pretty much ever team at every level from Pee Wee to college uses it almost exclusively now.
The team is winning with their defense. It's not an either or situation. The team is winning with Rush.

Rush is playing great for a backup. But come on man, he wouldn’t be a starter on any team in the NFL. Do you even watch the games? Our offense was allegedly 1st last year...and what did it do for us?: Got our Ax bounced out right quick.
So your cute little offense ranking STAT doesn't mean sheet.
But you go ahead and keeping hating on Cooper to elevate Dak.

And he will because he IS a lot better. I think this is what has most fans excited about this 2022 season. If I'm not mistaken the Cowboys have lost time of possession in most of these games..
Washington - 33:06 - Dallas 26.54
NYG 27:18 - Dallas 32:42
Cincy 33:48 - Dallas 26:12
So they won TOP against the Giants.. but got hammered against Cincy and Washington. I do NOT want Dak to play this way.. I want him to play this style.. but a lot better..
If Rush has zero completions and zero passing yards in a game and we win, then the team won despite of Rush. The team is winning with their defense.
Wasn't even 1 though.Should’ve been 3.

No argument from me.If Rush has zero completions and zero passing yards in a game and we win, then the team won despite of Rush.
The fact of the matter is...any contribution is a contribution.
Yeah, the Dak haters. It just goes to show that they have no clue what they’re talking about by hating on Dak and thinking Rush is the better QB.It’s the usual suspects that touted Dalton when he stepped in. Rush is playing well for a backup. Defense is playing elite level right now.
