That will happen the next time he is choking and needs a way out of being exposed for his poor play.Until the next injury...

It’s a team game . Why don’t you understand that?1 playoff win and 3 playoff losses with Dakota. The question is “ WTH is wrong with Dakota”.
His time is numbered here and Cooper Rush being able to fill in so nicely has exposed Rayne even more than before.
At least several years ago the best thing about Dak was that he wasn’t injury…..but that’s turned out to be false too. It’s something with him every year.
The players know who’s the better QB. Delaying Daks return is not going to happen. Jeez you guys need to get a grip! This isn’t Madden !
And if Dak can heal up more thoroughly at the same time, even better. It seems like the only criticism you don't like is criticism of Dak, and I wasn't even being critical of him. We've been winning with Rush is my only point. If we keep winning with him, then I think it would be best for several reasons to ride that out. One of them isn't that I think he's the better QB or that the players think he's the better QB. There's something to be said for sticking with the hot hand until it isn't hot anymore.
....seems a ton better than the ZERO points from week 1.
Most fans equate wins to QB play.Cooper Rush has done a great job as a back up, but for some reason fans have this false perception that the offense is humming. Which obviously being a bottom 5 offense isn't the case.
So in your.opinion being the 25th rank offense is better than the top 5 offenses we have had ..got it.Rush's play has magnified Dak's limits.
In another word, it took Rush's play to highlight what Dak needs to be doing.
And what's been hot?It seems like the only criticism you don't like is criticism of Dak, and I wasn't even being critical of him. We've been winning with Rush is my only point. 20%? How?The only ones looking ignorant is the owner that signed him for 20% of the teams salary cap and the few minority of fans thinking that they will see a championship with Dakota as Qb
I’ve dealt with 3 playoff wins in 22 years so I can deal with another season or 2 until we can get the next real franchise Qb,…….I’m in no Rush
They’ve been winning because of the defense. Wake up.It seems like the only criticism you don't like is criticism of Dak, and I wasn't even being critical of him. 20%? How?
And last year? Or this year?2023 his cap hit is 49 Million. The teams salary cap will be 225 Million.
Ergo….21.77 percent.
And last year? Or this year?
Winning. That's all he's talking about. Regardless of the points on the board, as long as we score more than they do, Rush has the hot hand...to a point. And what's been hot?
last year was 2021. This year is 2022. Just keep on adding another year on Jan1 every year and that’s how the years are determined
Cooper Rush has been excellent and it’s been a definite blessing to the team. He’s keeping us afloat until QB1 returns but I think this conversation from ESPN (if all places) digs into why our offense is working despite not having our starting QB.
Thoughts?
