Why the Eagles winning tonight won't be such a bad thing

I want the Eagles to win and win big tonight.

The Cowboys beating them and gaining confidence means far more to me at this stage of the season.

Same with that Patriots game.. I don't want them to play the Patriots without Brady.. Really nothing to gain there.

Imagine that Seattle game without Russell Wilson last year? That win catapulted our season.

Falcons to the over is the parlay gaining momentum I hear.

Want to make some money? Take Phil and the over.......easy $$$$$$

Philly has fresh legs, it is game one, not week 14. ATL is a mentally weak team and will get run out of the building. Philly's scheme will trash that defense.

However, I would enjoy a good dose of local Philly talk all day tomorrow if they stink it up tonight.

Someone coming up with how an Eagles win tonight would benefit the Cowboys. What else is new here. LOL Last season a FAN came up with a scenario that he claimed would increase the Cowboys playoff chances if they lost both games to Philly.

Or maybe it has something to do with the fact that they fielded a very competitive team last year and have a much better team this year, given their additions/subtractions? I hate Philly as much as anyone, but they WILL be our primary opposition for the division title this year and like last year, I don't think that gets resolved until very late in the season. I don't have to sit here and pretend the Eagles aren't going to have a very dangerous team this year.

Good team my ***. is that why they collapsed after thanksgiving and missed the playoffs?

I will be rooting for Sam Bradford and Murray to do extremely well but still lose the game :)

Let's say the eagles win tonight by double digits, that would have the media favoring them in their home stadium next week and how they are the high flying eagles and can't be stopped, That would put all the pressure on the eagles to live up to the expectations and force dallas to raise their level of play when going to philly next week.

Now if the eagles lose, you know that they will be more desperate next week trying to avoid 0-2. So Isn't a 1-0 eagles with a win over a weak NFC south team easier to beat since they will be favored instead of a 0-1 eagles team playing to avoid a 0-2 start?

Yes i agree, but Atlanta isnt a weak team.
I want to see the game, and see how thier run game is etc.

There is nothing good about the Eagles winning. Atlanta needs to take care of business at home. The Eagles need to lose.

dallas was 3 point underdog last nite after game.
Dez is not the only reason, heck cowboys played better without him.
I think the 81 yards rushing and romo's 45 passes tell a story.

Without Dez I am surprised we are "even" with Philly. But I think that is a fair line as we were the better team last year.

It may change after eagles play tonite, depends on how they do against atlanta.
No one has seen them play yet.
Atlanta I think is a better team than the giants team we just played, so I am going to factor that in.

EaGirls winning is never a good thing. Unless they are eliminating someone from the playoffs for us to get in.

Even then, I don't really like it.

Well aince we haven't lost a road game since Jesus was walking around I say bring on Philly at a chance of 0-2, or 0-16 doesn't matter. We are the better team even without Dez, Scandrick and Gregory. Our short to medium passing looks elite now we knocked the bugs out

Yeah, we just got the rust off last game it's time to kick that butt in Philly !!!

If Atlanta's o-line is as bad as it was last year, you will get your wish.
