Why the Eagles winning tonight won't be such a bad thing

I understand your logic. I cannot root for them. They will win tonight and be a pretty good favorite next week. Cowboys lose next week, then beat them later in season.

I'm sorry, I'm never rooting for an Eagles win unless it directly benefit the boys

Sorry but this is silly fan logic. Anytime a division rival loses it is good. Dallas does not need Philly to be fat and happy with a week 1 to beat them.

Hey, that worked pretty well for us last season. LOL. All I know if that when a team plays a football game, three things can happen and two of them are bad. You can win, you can lose, and you can get injured. While I think there is about 0.000000001% chance that Philly loses tonight, it will be interesting to see how they come out of the game injury-wise. Yes, Dez being out hurts, but we may have to re-visit this tomorrow morning. Not that I'm wishing injury on them to help our chances (loser's mentality), but it's just the reality of the game.

I not only want the Eagles to lose, I want them to get blown out. Sick and tired of the Chip Kelly genius talk.

I'm sorry but its a good night any time a team in our division loses and so far 2 of them already have. I want the best they have and that's what you are going to get at their home being 0-1.

If we can't get up for the Eagles then we have bigger problems than the Eagles. We should want the teams in the division to lose as much as possible. We need to beat them regardless of their record.

I want the Eagles to win and win big tonight.

The Cowboys beating them and gaining confidence means far more to me at this stage of the season.

Same with that Patriots game.. I don't want them to play the Patriots without Brady.. Really nothing to gain there.

Imagine that Seattle game without Russell Wilson last year? That win catapulted our season.

See, you GOT IT!!!

Think about it this way, the philly media is already going to remind them it's a easier game because of no Dez. So you combine that with them being 1-0 over a 20 pt over Atlanta and I will bet we go to philly and win by 25 next week

Next to a Cowboy win, I'm most happy when I see a division rival lose. Having all 3 lose on one weekend is like Christmas.

But I didn't think it would be a big deal seeing them win a game over a weak team in week 1 since the eagles and cowboys are the only teams competing for the NFC east. So they win tonight and then be 1-1 next week while we are 2-0 about to face a week falcons team that they beat in week one. Follow me now?

Eagles could beat the Falcons by 50 pts and they will still be just as hungry to kill the Cowboys.

1. That is how Chip rolls. Win the Day.
2. Dallas embarrassed them last year on national TV and kicked their butts to curb and out of the playoffs.
3. The entire city, fanbase and organization has had week 2 circled on their calendars for several months.

And it would be even worst if they are 0-1. Now I would not been cool with a eagles win in December but the season just started so I can deal with a week 1 win.

No because with a team like the eagles (and the skins) ........ they always roll over to adversity.

The Giants and Cowboys are the ones who fight harder when there backs are against the wall.

There's a lot of truth right here. That's why overall I'm always more scared of the Giants then the other two.
