So hope is the plan? Waiting until the 2nd half to sit a hurt QB is a bad plan. He'll just hurt himself more. His performance last week is all that needed to be seen to know he is playing hurt and will only hurt this team playing that way. He needs time to heal despite his vigorous objection.
He was considered ready to play before the game, but did you watch the game? He was not ready. He can't recover while preparing to play hurt again. It doesn't matter if it's been another week, he's not healing if he's practicing. We've already seen what happens when the staff and trainers decide what's best for Dak, again, did you see the game? I don't decide anything either, I just offer food for thought just like you.He was considered to be ready last week and he's had yet another week to recover. Perhaps you might consider allowing the staff and the trainers decide what's best for Dak, instead of assuming their responsibilities without even being in Dak's sight all week long. They'll decide what to do from a close-up perspective. There are team doctors and trainers that are being paid generously to serve their purpose, while you judge from afar. I don't decide anything, as you well know. I merely offered food for thought, in case Dak starts and it doesn't go according to plan. If the staff decides to sit him, I'll be fine with it.
Is that what Wilson did, fill in for Gallup? I don't remember Gallup playing ST. I don't remember Gallup throwing the ball. Wilson does so much more for this team than Gallup.I think Wilson did a great job filling in for Gallup. Things should be close to the same. The problems are with the o line and if they don't get it together there won't be enough time to throw deep to Gallup.

If only garbage time lasted the whole game every game, Dak would be the league MVP. Hope is not a plan. They should not be letting Dak prepare to play hurt again. Let Cooper Rush play one more game so Dak can recover properly. That's the right decision for Dak and the team. We'll actually need him in some of the games coming up but not for this game with ATL. Dak can't help us now and he won't be able to help us later when he gets hurt more.Of course, Dak wasn't ready -- he had been sidelined over a period of weeks, mainly concerned with resting and rehabbing from injuries that happen over the course of some extremely tough pro football games. That takes a serious toll on even the healthiest of QBs, regardless of their physical prowess. The present Cowboys have surrounded themselves with some of the most experienced coaches to be had in the world of pro football.
As for watching the games, I watched the last one, with eyes open to seeing how Dak did in the last quarter, when he finally started getting a feel back to regain his state of readiness. I look forward to seeing him progress but let's not doubt that the Cowboys' staff is scrutinizing everything that Dak does to recover his former self in practice. We can only hope that they'll make the right decisions to help him to perform at his best.

So, he's going to be throwing the ball to himself? LOLno way a talent like that can return and NOT have an impact.
he's too good not to.
Wilson's shoulder was banged up in the Denver game so yeah he may not be active. Gallup is returning just in time.Let's not downgrade either of those two WRs capabilities to perform really well. Wilson's been banged up lately, so Gallup might well be called upon to do whatever he can to help. We'll see if Wilson is limited this week. From the looks of things, it's entirely possible. I'm sure the staff is relieved to see Gallup return to possibly serve their cause.

This season went so well for the first 7 games. Here we are getting ready for week 10 and it's downhill from here.Right, hope is not the plan but you're acting as though it's impractical for fans to have that in their mindset. There are better things to espouse, rather than being negative. Yes, the Cowboys offense is on the ropes for now. Nothing wrong with hoping it's resolved. Unfortunately, we, as fans, don't make the decisions for this team -- the coaches do. That's what's in the plans, my friend. Let's not wimp out and give up on the staff, just because we're experiencing hard times right now. Hope isn't a fault -- it's something fans have to sustain themselves. The staff does the rest. Quit worrying over what you can't change.

Mounting injuries. Hows that?I see positive thinking isn't in your wheelhouse when things aren't going swimmingly. Be strong -- you can do this!![]()

How? All he does is overthrow his receivers.no...Dak will be tossin' him TDs.
Who's worried? I just see it for what it is. How do you enjoy the implosion of something you care about. It's hard to watch.Worrying about things we can't change is, simply, a waste of time.
We'll either get past it or we won't, despite the needless angst.
I learned to enjoy the games for what they are. It's better like that.
