cant figure out Alderson. Mets have 3 starters now that can pitch a shut out every night but cant get more than one run on offense. Harvey has pitched 15 scoreless innings and has 2 runs to show for it. Alderrson wants to wait on Wright who has not been a big hitter in three years and TDA. Reminds me of the Seaver and Koosman years, no hitting. At least then htey had a defense. It is frustrating watching the great pitching go to waste.

First, shouldn't Murphy know baseball fundamentals 101 by now? His bat has gone South and he should not be an everyday starter now. His baseball IQ is horrible.

Second, it took this long to send down Kirk??

Like I said earlier, Wright is our Sean Lee, hurt more than he plays.

It is feast or famine with this offense but mostly famine. They need a couple of more hitters in the line-up who hits .280+......not 5 guys hitting near the mendosa line.

We have no SS, Flores and Tejada sucks but they are all we have ATM. Duda is, well Duda. He will never amount to anything more but he is better than Ike "I have Valley Fever" Davis.

It is pretty bad when we have a team full of players who can't bunt either.

Collins does not play small ball.....he plays for the big innings in which we have no real HR hitters.....or even gap hitters at that. His in-game decisions puzzle me.

I know, we are still in first(tied now), but this will not last with these sorry excuses for hitters

I don't have an issue figuring out this Yankees' team. About 1/4 of the roster is a disasters. CC, Drew, Beltran, Didi... A couple of the crappy middle relievers. They're just awful and ought to be flushed.

Agree with all except moving Flores to 3rd. I actually like Murphy there, he doesn't have time to think

Niese, Gee and Colon would be moved and I would bring up Matz and Montero.

My starting five would be:
1. Dark Knight
2. DeGrom
3. Syndergaard
4. Wheeler
5. Matz/Montero to fill in the gaps.

I would like Campbell and Cecchini to man SS and 2nd........send Flores packing for another bullpen arm. We need TDA back real bad and find another catcher, Travis gets injured too much.

Oh, and............David Wright = Sean Lee. Great when they are actually on the field but can never be counted on

Murphy does not have the power for third. At least Flores can hit the ball out of the ball park. Murphy is a bench player/Pinch hitter. Mets could screw up a a one car funeral. No direction. The only decision they can make is NOT to make one. They lost their chance to deal Niese because Sandy tries to get the moon and stars for every player and wont compromise. He has gotten lucky in his Beltran and Dickey trades and now tries to make every one like that. Collins wont make it to July when they will bring in Wally Backman. Wally may light a fire under them for a short spurt but Alderson does so much micromanaging, Wally will go postal on him before the season ends and he will be fired.

Flores isn't a proto-typical third-baseman either, it is just the lesser of two evils. Since Murphy is here for awhile, might as well put him where he can hurt us the least IMO. Flores at 2nd would be fine too, but I don't like Campbell much, he swings like Kirk but needs a chance to prove me wrong.

Instead of making a decision of getting rid of one the pitchers that has no future with the team, IE 400 lb Colon, junk baller Gee, or 4 inning pitcher Jon Niece, they are going to go with a six man rotation. They dont want to hurt anyones feelings so instead decide to mess with routine, mess with having their best pitchers in Harvey and DeGrom not start as often and another summer of boring Mets baseball. And today one of the writers was saying how great Wilpon is doing as owner. Please. The guy should been forced to sale five years ago but weathered that storm long enough to make sure his kid has ownership until my death. Thanks Bud Selig....
