Stupid Mets. Instead of making a decision of getting rid of one the pitchers that has no future with the team, IE 400 lb Colon, junk baller Gee, or 4 inning pitcher Jon Niece, they are going to go with a six man rotation. They dont want to hurt anyones feelings so instead decide to mess with routine, mess with having their best pitchers in Harvey and DeGrom not start as often and another summer of boring Mets baseball. And today one of the writers was saying how great Wilpon is doing as owner. Please. The guy should been forced to sale five years ago but weathered that storm long enough to make sure his kid has ownership until my death. Thanks Bud Selig....

I stopped questioning the Mets FO decisions a long time ago, they make no sense. The Wilpon's are the worst owners in sports IMO. I really wish Seinfeld would have bought the team, he would at least let baseball people make the decisions :(

Red, He won't last the season. He will come down with gout, shingles, diabetes, or just miss time cause he slipped on a cheeseburger. He has been getting hit hard after the first month of the season so I cant see him making all year. Trade him to the Yankees for a Shake Shack burger. . They are always looking to take on old players with nothing left. Should fit right in over there.

Pretty sure the Yankess don;t want him back, heh.

He is a decent pitcher but the problem is that he is stumping our younger guys growth because someone else should be getting these reps.......who will be part of the future. Colon is 42, he is almost done.

Trade harvey to the Marlins for Stanton. Harvey is going to be gone in two years anyway when he wants big money. Maybe even starts complaining after this year with the six man rotation, no offense, no defense. no help. Stanton may be owed 2 billion dollars but he would probably pay his ticket with more fans in the stands. TDA has another boo boo. Like him a lot but man does he stay hurt.

Harvey is their only draw, probably not going anywhere. Their attendance doubles when he pitches and Stanton is too young to go after right now. Check back when he is 37 years old

Why would any team trade a superstar for Harvey? The guy is likely to be a big disappointment with all the potential in the world but never living up to it.

Spoken like a fan of losing franchise. Lol

Picking up old players netted us 4 World Series in 5 years... Don't let facts ruin your day.

Still... Without Him where would mets be?

Tanaka looked pretty good on his return from the DL. I hope he can keep it up, will have to see. Last night, he went 7 innings, one run on three hits, 9 Ks. He had good stuff against the Mariners.

Agreed. He was the shot in the arm the Yankee rotation needed.

The Orioles need a shot somewhere. More the offense right now, but Tillman hasnt pitched well at all. He's killing us.

Truthfully the whole division is crap.

I remember the 1977 season... The Yankees had like 100 wins... Boston had like 97 and Baltimore had like 96. It was amazing.

This year the division winner will have less than 90.

I think he needs to be part of that "amazing" mets idea of 6 man/day rotation. lol

Seriously.... Dont pitch him regular.
Save him for the end. Pitch him once a week.
