There are many. I'll give you a couple.

Differing Incarceration rates for the same crime for certain groups. One example being crack getting a more severe penalty than powder cocaine despite being nearly identical chemically.

Rates of arrests for the same crime. Despite the fact the group A uses substance D the same amount as group B group B gets arrested far more often.

Rates of being stopped by enforcement...and so on and so on...

I see where you're taking this, I'm not getting into that debate on this board.

You can PM me if you'd like to have an honest conversation about these examples if you wish.

Lol, I'll think about it. I'm sure it will lead to further debate and I'm not sure I have the energy today :) Staying on the sidelines and reading everyone else's comments is a lot less time consuming.
Smarter too.

Same, Boxer.

Hardy would be the answer we need right now, the proven answer at RDE. Such a shame we let him go. I will rue that until we have a monster that fills the void that he left.

Hardy screwed that up more than anyone else. It would have been nice if we had a coach that could handle him like Johnson handled Haley, but we don't. But in playing the blame game, it's Hardy's fault that he's not only not on this team, but out of the NFL for good.

That's on him for not realizing or appreciating the second chance that the Cowboys gave him. And the same blame can be placed on Randy Gregory and Rolando McClain too. You can blame the Cowboys for taking chances on players with known issues to some degree, but the lion's share of why things didn't work out lies with the players themselves.

And it's a tough pill to swallow to think about how good this team could have and would be if those guys had seized their opportunity.

Excellent post and reinforces the main point here... individual accountability.

Life tends to go smoother when you have it.

Its as you said my friend, our coach doesnt have the stones to talk to these guys. Jesus, Dez had to take it upon himself on the sideline to calm Hardy down while Garrett sat their clapping.

Great post! And it's sad to realize what could have been had any of the three you mentioned just had an ounce of self-control.
All Hardy had to do was keep his mouth shut for one year. Listen to your coaches, recognize that the team isn't going to be as good with Romo out and look to the future, and, please don't get baited into doing another interview about your DV case. But he couldn't do any of those.
Ro is just Ro. Million dollar talent, 10 cent head. Given another chance, blows another chance as this when the team basically let's you miss training camp.
And Gregory just can't resist the weed.
Imagine what those three would have done for this defense? :omg:
Sigh. Dreams are derail for lack of discipline. :(

Yeah. No. You said something stupid. Got called out for it by multiple posters and now you are in damage control trying to subtly walk back the silliness.
Just because we disagree doesn't mean either perspective is stupid. It's okay if you can't agree with me, there is no crime in that. You don't have to be defensive and lash out with pejoratives to walk away from this discussion still feeling like a man. I didn't get called out by anyone else but you my friend and as far I see it, we just disagree which is fine. I have nothing to go in damage control about. I speak my mind but some times little boys come around and can't just disagree but have to ridicule to make themselves feel better which is what you are doing. I'm sorry you are not mature enough to just agree to disagree but in the end, if that's the case, it's your problem not mine. :)

Sounds like some sort of conspiracy cover up, he was "acquaintances" with the guy and he's a popular local dj. Looks like he pulled a "Hardy". Hmmmmm...so the Cowboys aren't the only team that raise eyebrows :D

suspend the case. Not drop it. But that is interesting that they now cannot 'find' the victim. Witnesses not cooperating is pretty much par for the course in situations like this. That is also code for 'we have heard all sorts of versions about what happened and no two witnesses have the same one'

Unless video is found and that looks less likely by the day then there will be no legal ramifications. The NFL however since it considers itself above the law is another matter.

Roger can punish with an oncoming suspension he had planned anyway. This could add a game without even mentioning it.

Alright yall ready for a story from the liquor store guy?

Let me preface this by saying I absolutely know it sounds like horse crap. I dont expect anyone to believe it and I dont necessarily believe it myself but...

I work for the fire dept in Houston and one of the guys at my station is from Dallas. Been working with him for 8 or 9 months and as far as I know hes a good dude. He tells me that he spoke with a friend that was in the club during the incident. This guy is claiming Zeke was there and did indeed push DJ train (or whatever his name is) and then knock the dog crap out of him. My buddy is also a Cowboys fan. I include this detail because Texan fans are riddiculous and I need to clarify he isnt pulling my leg.

All this being said I am not certain I believe a word of it. Also know that until this latest incident I have been outraged at the entire investigation and have called bs. Only recently have I had enough of this crap and voiced my opinion that I am truly concerned about Zekes decision making. Anyhow I thought Id at least share. This is the drama zone right?
