Any questions?
You are right. The other 10 who will be in the bidding in 2 years will be offering 40.
How many championships have all Zach Martins All-Pro selections lead to?How many championships has that lead to in his 4 seasons? I'm not even going to consider the regular season pissing contest.

I know QB isn’t an exact comparison, but the point is it takes a team to win, and not winning doesn’t mean individual players are not very good or blocks to build on.
No.
They wouldn't have.
Brady always played on a team friendly deal and he's won 17 Superbowls.
Oh, and yes, I'm aware we are not the Patriots and not anything close to them.
Maybe this is the step towards the Patriot way. Still have a long ways to go, but at least it's a step.
I agree with you and disagree with you. The Cowboys not giving Dak the money is not us being like the Patriots. They could not agree on whether to pay him 35 million vs 37/38. 4 year contract vs 5/6 year contract.
This front office didn't just get intelligent overnight. The Cowboys are not smart enough to Zig while the league is zagging.
If they were really doing the Patriot way, they would have traded him last year or this off season while they could. We are just happy to have a high cap number with not guarantee for either side for more than a year.
If we were smart, we should have signed Cam earlier this offseason, we have Dalton which was a good signing. Us the remaining 20 some odd million and strengthen the rest of the team.
I don't agree with paying franchise altering money to good players... (Dak, Wentz, Goff, Cousins, Jimmy G.... players of this level). The rising cap has lifted the boat of these players. All thanks to Flacco & Sam Bradford.
Players like Manning, Brees, Favre, etc never took less than market value in their prime.
Is Zach Martin the one demanding to be the highest paid player in NFL history?
I'd take an old Brady with our weapons instead of dak and our weapons.
Don't waste your time then by being in a thread that you don't care about.
Reassess how you use your time.
I've already been over this about 4 times.
This was after he had 3 Superbowl win, 2 Superbowl MVPs, a season with 50 TD passes with a 117 rating, and I'm sure a couple of other major accomplishments I'm missing.
Dak has had 2 good seasons in the league and nothing else.
See the difference?
It’s amazing that people think the salary cap will keep going up, as if economic growth is always upwards. The government just printed trillions to keep the economy from completely collapsing. This was the most massive intervention in history. There is a reason analysts have been using the word bubble for years now.
Even Jerry is in the energy sector and they got hammered. He put in close up 500 million in Comstock stock last year and they plummeted in May this year close to 40% this year. He has 1.1 billion dollars in investments in the company.
Last year when he signed Zeke, everything was rosy.

Cam? OMG, you've got to be kidding.I agree with you and disagree with you. The Cowboys not giving Dak the money is not us being like the Patriots. They could not agree on whether to pay him 35 million vs 37/38. 4 year contract vs 5/6 year contract.
