Remind you of anything???

More from Mason on officiating: "I'm going to take it back to last game. San DIego. Quinn Sypniewski runs down the field, runs into one of their DBs, we catch the ball and they call offensive pass interference. OK. This game, same things happens. Randy Moss runs right into Samari Rolle. They call defensive pass interference. I don't understand that."

Funny how Moss seems to get away with that stuff???????? Yet, we are all jealous because the Pats are sooooooo much better than everyone else and we KNOW there is no such thing as game fixing *cough* Tim Donaghy *cough*

You guys just can't accept the fact that the Pats are undefeated.

The refs didn't hand anyone the game. Watson was mugged on that pass interference play. Gaffney caught the ball cleanly; he just switched the ball into a different hand after he went out of bounds.

The Pats won because they're a disciplined team and know how to win. The Ravens lost because they are an undisciplined team.

I can accept the fact just fine. I really could care less how many games an AFC team wins.

However, I have been to several boards tonight and most people think the refs screwed the Ravens over.

Looks like you are in the minority.

it's not a non-call if TO's recent history shows that he gets calls against him...spiking the ball when he didn't, overturn an in bound call when he was pushed out, etc.

That doesn't have ANYTHING to do with Gaffney's catch.

Is this the logic you're using to argue against Gaffney's catch?

The ball was moving the entire time he was in bounds. He has to have possession while his feet are down. No catch.

It's very similar to the out route non-catch by TO against the Packers. TO didn't catch it and neither did Gaffney.

So what? The refs are trash, especially when they are so biased for the Pats, and everyone who isn't a Pats fan can see it.

Speaking of no class, what the hell was Rodney steroids Harrison doing when he yapped at Billick? That was atrocious. the kiss from Billick was good but I would have preferred if he gave him the finger on national tv.

Like the majority has never been wrong.

Many of those who think the refs screwed the Pats are those who don't want to see the Pats go undefeated. I'd say there's more bias in their perspective/perception than reality.

Look, I don't want the Pats to go undefeated either. But the Ravens didn't lose because of the refs. They loss because they were undisciplined and in the final minutes, being a disciplined team and keeping your composure is what matters most. And the Ravens didn't do that.

we are just saying...that if that had been #81 on his back, and a :star: on his helmet, he would not have gotten a completed call...like in the past, refs have made calls that were not in favor of TO.

Because this player was a PATS player, he got the benefit of the doubt. if he was called out, there would have been no way that call would have been overturned to be a TD

What does T.O. have to do with that catch?

Yes, he did catch the ball. I watched it on Tivo and watch the slow-mo of the catch. He catches the ball by the tip of his fingers and then switches it after he goes out of bounds.

But I can understand why you're upset. You're comparing it to a non-call on T.O.

My point is that New England gets those calls....others don't. The NFL is trying to clean up there tarnished halo after the greatest coach of ALL-TIME has been exposed as a cheater. The only way to do that is for them to run the table.

ESPN knows this game "smells fishy" and they are in full damage control mode trying to spin it that the game was legit.

I would actually rather see the Pats blow teams out 55-3 then watch the refs hand it to them, kinda just makes me sick.

I'm not a Pats fan so I guess you're wrong.

Look, teams complained about the refs being in the hip pocket of the Steelers in the 70s, the 49ers in the 80s, the Cowboys in the 90s (remember, the complaints about Irvin pushing off and the offensive line holding or punching to the face?).

Dominant teams are also going to look as if they're getting the favorable calls.

It's par for the course.

Or it could have been fixed the whole time :)

this is nothing new...been happening all year. The pats are the kings and will get calls, gotta find a team who can put them away and not get in a position where the refs can let the pats hang around.

I honestly thought we were about to do that until the laundry started to fly all over the field and i just laughed to myself.

Yeah, I don't think the refs are in the Patriots pocket, but you're overcompensating a little here. It's pretty obvious that wasn't a catch. The holding penalty was fine. But that was not a catch.

I'm sorry. You must not know what the word "biased" means.

4-13, does this mean anything? if the refs want to call it a flag-full day, then call it on both teams...don't be discriminating, especially with less than 1 minute left to play giving the pats chance after chance to get that TD.

i guess those hits boller took were just a pat on the shoulder.

Yeah at 24-21, Moss runs into Watkins, PI on Watkins.

At 31-24, first down for us, oops holding penalty.
