As for the number of posts, I have been posting here for a long time and rarely post. I posted in the past because of Parcells, Bledsoe, Glenn.

Now, we seem to be heading for the SB. So I post.

But, you know what, HATE over football??? The day will never come in my life, ever. The day my life is so consumed by football is the day I realize that I no longer have a life.

Football is a game, period. I love the Pats, no question. It is my favorite sport and my favorite team. But HATE??? Me thinks life is just a tad short to waste my time on hate over football.

Now, if it was YOUR team then you would think different.

Ravens defense, just tackle every WR that goes out on a route. Our team was not just mauled, they were tackled before they even started their route.

You, my friend would be in an uproar if it was the Boys.

As far as the Pats, we are called for everything they can call. And whoever the team we are playing is given total latitude.

If it was a level playing field we would have kicked their butts.

I would not go that far. I thought the game was called honestly and fair. That does not mean perfect but I saw nothing to make me think the refs were trying to favor one team over the other. Raven played your team like it was their super bowl and pretty much played the best game they have all season but in the end it was their own mistakes that cost them the game.

Bottom line, we should have lost. I still don't know how we won. Just the Ravens falling apart. They did play a great game, but they also were mauling our WR's and hoping the refs wouldn't call them on it. And for the most part, they didn't.

But what is it when teams just fall apart when the opportunity is there??? Buffalo did it in your game.

I still believe there are lots of talented players in the NFL. Just seems to be a lack of quality QB's and coaches. Maybe it is the word greed. You need to have to have a front office that cares about your team. We have it, heck Kraft was a season ticket holder before an owner. Jones is also an owner that cares.

Thanks because I do try and be objective. I'm no Pats fan but I do respect them as a quality team and one I would love to face again in the SB should both teams make it. Like most I was pulling for the Raven Monday because they were the big underdog and I had no real dog in this fight to begin with. Ravens had several big chances but the late int that they Ravens threw on the long bomb was the big turning point. I always believe each year you will lose some games you should have won and win some game you should have lost.

It only matters that the feet tangling is incidental if the player is going for the ball. The player never even turned and looked for the ball.

There have been plenty of times no pass interference call was made because players tangled feet. If memory serves me correctly, such a call was made in the Colts-Pats game in the AFC Championship Game last year.

I watched the game there was nothing wrong with the refs. I was pulling for the Ravens but in the end it was the ravens who hurt themselfs not the refs. As for the differance between the penalties called between the Raven and Pats has nothing to do with anything, the Raven made more mistakes and were called on them this not about throwing and even number of flags. You committ a foul you get called on it. I get sick and tired of this blame the ref BS everytime the team people want to win loses. It is the 1st excuse people use oh the ref cost us the game. It is called the losers motto!! Not our fault the ref did it. Give me a break!!!

Your whole argument is predicated on the fact that everytime a foul was committed, it was called, and that too, legitimately. That does not take into account fouls where referees turned a blind eye. Or fouls where refs simply ignored, but happened to call at crucial times of the game. Even the Ravens complained about the lack of consistency in the calling.

Further, even if the Ravens hurt themselves in the end, it still does not predicate that the refs didn't influence the outcome of the game. It could simply means that the Ravens almost overcame odds that were stacked against them, the third team, i.e. the refs.

You do realize that the condition for pass interference isn't just predicated on tangled feet. One can tangle a foot with the receiver and not get called for pass interference. It depends on HOW one tangles the feet.
