WR Update. Amari vs the Cowboys Wrs

first off not at 22MIL Miss the point much??..jeez the coop fans can't let it go, it was a business move and the smart move for sure. he was far overpriced for what he brought here..

sorry we DONT miss him, its the point we do not miss Ced or turner either.

stats, don't lie,.

we are as productive and still haven't got Gallup and Washington back,

the FO plan is working. Like it or now we do NOT Miss coop..

Nope stats don't lie - look at these Cooper Rush Stats with Amari, CeeDee and Cedric last year!!! How many passing yards last night again?

Does anyone seriously think we could not have used Cooper in those first two games? The WR corps did a good job against the Giants. That's a good thing, but it doesn't mean we wouldn't still be better off with Cooper so far this season.
We won 2 of the 3.
Would Coop have helped? Sure.
He is a good WR but week 1 he had 3 catches for 17 yards and week 1 is the only time he might have helped us.

Coop doesn't keep OL from holding or false starting or TP from whiffing on blocks as happened week 1.

Dallas made a business decision and I believe it was probably the correct one but I'd feel much different if we were 1-2 or 0-3 so it isn't cut and dried like most discussions.
Coop has proven he can still play.

Loving Noah and the work he is doing.
And it was very nice to see Tolbert, Hendershot and Ferguson get catches.

But Brown made me about 30 bucks by going over 3.5 receptions.
Was my best single game bet night ina while.
I had DAL +1,
Diggs 1INT
Zeke over 60.5 yards
Brown over 3.5 catches

ONE GAME LMAO good try we are now talking 3 in a row against different teams in different year lmao..good try FAIL we are talking this year right now. without Gallup or Washington.
How many games are you talking about - 3? All of which we have not broken 250 in passing yards and you are saying we don't miss them!!

so,

all the talk since game 1, coopers sorely missed, a catastrophic mistake etc etc can't remember all the headlines this past week after Thursday's game.

Lamb 17-191 1td
Brown 15 -213 1 td

Amari cooper 19- 219 2 tds

Gallup and Washington coming back will solidify this group with Dak back as well...

I'd say the overactions are just that. I don't see what the big deal is...

those making comps for daks salary vs rushes production, how about that comp for our WR group,

well, ACs making 22mil.... what's Brown and Lamb making together? add in Gallup(4.5mil) and Washington.

I say we got the better deal. wen fans lie me say let's wait until season end for comps, this is why. as time goes by game by game you will see the true impact of these moves.
cooper is not a 20 mil receiver . not to mention his up and down and unavailabilities. Cee Dee will continue to mature. He is just trying to think too much of what to do after the catch, but he makes great catches.

We had both. But seriously, these Coop discussions need to die down. I miss him too, but he ain't coming back. I enjoy Noah's development and can't wait to see something out of Tolbert. The young TEs are very promising. Schultz is the man, but Fergy and Hendy are awesome blockers with pretty decent hands - and they're athletic - imagine that after over a decade of our beloved statue Witten.:lmao2: We have a young developing offense, so good luck to Coop, but let's focus on what we have.
Easy on the Witten statue talk! He was a great TE - one of the best to ever play the game. ;) Sure, he lost his speed as he aged, but he still managed to get open, and more often than not, move the chains. That said, if we can find someone as good or better, I'd be willing to forget he ever existed.

I would too, but I don't want the salary associated with the guy.
That was my issue with him as well.

I liked Amari and would have been happy to keep him but not for $20 million, which is what he would have cost.

You really cannot judge whether it was a bad move though until after the season, especially if Cooper has more of his low yard games in between the 100+ yard games.

I agree. That's why I said "beloved" statue.;) He was a chain mover and the no helmet RAC is the stuff of legends.

Amari didn't make himself available, was a butt-load of money and 860 yards isn't hard to replace. What he does on another team is moot.

When Gallup gets back, there should be no issues.

Brown has been better than Wilson.

Problem with you logic is the Cowboys should still have all 3 and Gallup and Wilson . . . and a couple more guys for the price of Dak

I think Brown and Wilson are about the same, so we didn't lose or gain much.
