If you dislike talking football with people who don't get it you're wasting your time on FAN boards because most don't get it they're too biased to get it. I've seen everyone from Brent Musburger to Al Michaels to former NFL GM's, coaches and players get ripped by FANS because they don't get it and refuse to get it if it doesn't favor the Cowboys. FANS think they know it all when it comes to the NFL and the Cowboys. They think they know more about the rules than Dean Blandino and know more about running the league than Roger Goodell. I've lost track of how many threads that have been started calling out those who played, coached and GM'd the game because some FAN didn't agree with them. It gets so ridiculous here that a couple of weeks ago I posted the Wiki link that I posted here in another thread and a few bashed the source claiming it's wrong and so am I.
The first sentence in that Wiki link is 100% correct and I challenge anyone to provide a link/source that disputes it...GOOD LUCK! NFL Network had a segment 2 years ago with Kurt Warner asking if it's fair that QB's are credited with a W/L record. It takes an incredibly uneducated FAN base not to know that QB's are credited with a W/L record.
FANS laugh in the face of facts and scoff at the experts exposing their lack of NFL knowledge. I would estimate only 10 to 15% who post on FAN boards really know what they're talking about because they do research and remove all bias from their posts working with facts while the rest are just biased armchair FANS/cheerleaders who base everything on their bias for the Cowboys. You have FANS here who are so blinded by their homerism they claimed that the ball never touched the ground on Dez' catch vs Green bay despite undisputable video evidence that it did touch the ground. LOL That's just an example of what you have to deal with on FAN boards.
